It was interesting to note that during one of the presentations for marketting the movie, they mentioned in order to get peoples attentions, they came up with classics, a way to "bring in" the older fans, be it parents who watched the show and bought toys for their kids, (as they said, using nostalgia as marketting), or even a long time die hard fan.
I hope that they continue with both lines down the road, because classics rocked from the begining, and titaniums were really starting to improve.
If they used it to rope people back in, then what was the sense in cancelling it? For a lot of people who liked Classics, I suspect the movie toys will not be appealing. I certainly don't care for them, and I doubt I'm the only one. There's a pretty big difference between the look of the two groups.
Honestly, I'm not worried.
I mean what's due after the movie...toys from the cartoon that most everyone despises already? Once that sinks through to their accounting sheets then I think its a pretty safe bet that Hasbro will get back to what the fans really want.

As anybody knows by now after WW Prowl and WW Grimlock the Titanium 6-inch line is going to be cancelled.
I really think it is unfortunate because I enjoyed the line of toys... Well, toys... I see them more as movable statues. They are not to be played with...
Very unfortunate...

It's a shame about the Titaniums, but at least we are getting WWI Prowl and Grimlock.
And don't forget, those four ex-tit moulds may well be used in another line.
eg I'd like to seee them all in Classics 2.0 *nudge nudge Hasbro*

Not surprised about Alternators and Titaniums getting the axe...
But what is great is the sheer volume of Alternators that were produced, and the load of great Titaniums too...
I'm more interested in seeing pictures of the toys that ARE going to hit the shelves rather than the ones that got cancelled...
And yes - more Classics toys; particularly Galvatron, is a great thing!
