As I said in a previous thread, I recently stumbled across a Depth Charge I'd completely forgotten about still in his packaging. I've been staring at it for the last three days now trying to decide if I should open it up or not. Normally, I wouldn't have a second's hesitation to rip it open and proudly place Depth Charge on the shelf of honour, as that was were he was headed before he got lost in the Pit of Storage.
What do you guys think? Leave him in his cardboard prison? Or free him?
I really can't decide!

Its only Depth Charge. I wouldn't sweat opening him. Its not like you have a G1 Prime there or anything liek that.

I guess it's just the fact that it's the only Depth Charge I've seen and the only Japanese release I have ever owned. Plus my wife keeps nagging me to sell some of them off...

Never hurts to ask her.
nah, now that I thin about it, I take that back.
Maybe he is willing to trade her for a Japanese TF though.

I had a question about MISB myself so I guess I can ask it here. I just got my Encores and I'm debating whether I should open them or not. I already have similar figures that are opened so I feel like I shouldn't open them. But I don't plan to resell them so why do I need to keep them MISB? I think it's because the MISB collectors have put me in a mindset that breaking the seal devalues the figures. Is a MIB figure with stickers unapplied worth less? Why is that?

i'd keep encores MISB. they're only good for display purposes, not very playable by today's standards. even if you don't want to sell them. think of 'em like, er, statues or figurines or something like that. heh heh.
all the comments above are the HUMBLE OPINIONS of the said user only. 'nuff sed.

I don't agree with that. The Roller that comes with Prime
gets a good launch coming off the trailer. I love me some
Encore Prime playtime.

Sell the Takara Depth Charge and pick up the Hasbro Depth Charge.
BW was one of the few lines where the Hasbro releases are often better. DC is nearly identical but you get his name stamped in the transmetal on the Hasbro release.
