I've been dieting for over five or six years, not sure if you can still call it a diet at this point. Lost 85lbs, when it comes to just weight lose, calories are the only thing that matters. Also I've been hungry for 5 years; that never seems to go away, you just get used to it.

I would have probably lost more but booze. Priorities!

Got me, I've never had sarsaparilla. I'm on a hard soda kick, so I'm trying everything I can find. It's basically root beer with malt liquor or something like that.

I've hit all the national brands I can find and I tried an Abita Bayou Bootlegger at a local burger house the other day and I was hooked. Abita is a local beer brewer and uses local ingredients. This has can sugar and isn't as sweet as the others I've had.

Same alcohol content as a normal beer, so after a few I'm feeling aight. I like to sip one while we walk the dog around the neighborhood. Got to love LA open container laws or lack there of ;)^

Edit: Maximo, well theres no vodka but it does taste like root beer. You can find hard cream soda, ginger ale, orange soda, cherry cola, and the list goes on. It's a brave new world of alcohol consumption for me.

Well to get back on topic, here is my un-toasted boring lunch sammich.

I swear there is some ham in there somewhere.

My poison of choice is whisky of the Scotch variety, followed by red wine, but I ain't too picky. I won't turn down a mimosa during brunch. I'm pretty sure there is a booze thread out there somewhere though.
