I like to eat freshly roasted oysters sprinkled with cheese and garlic. Couple that with grilled lemon marinated squid! Mercury levels are now off the charts!

Sandwiches...I remove the hard icky crusts.

Necrotizing fascitis smell don't bother me when I'm eating a sandwich. Or even gangrenous diabetic appendages.

I can't stand watching kittens suffer........watching humans on the otherhand :saint:

Ever seen a case of a Multi Injury VA victim with multiple fractures in the extremities? After being run over by an 18 wheeler and still survive? Well, for a few more hours that is........enough to make a stone cold heartb@stard cry!

So last time I made a burger, I took a decent amount of bacon bits and just kneaded them into the beef. Also, I am incredibly terrible at estimating how much beef I need. Topped that sumbitch with pepperjack. And I probably didn't actually survive long enough to make this post.

To differentiate myself from duragrip (he's obsessed with blondes like Adam and Adora), I actually like MOTU. Especially the Sorceress and Tee-La (Redheads). Today, this side of anime, you'd be hard pressed to see a syndicated American cartoon render women the way Filmation did.

Inspired me to take up a course in Fine Arts before i shifted to breaking human bodies then mending them.

Also loved Disney's Gummibears. Thought they were kiddy back then but my classmate (same @ss who introduced me to Comics) made me appreciate the series.The bloke btw is now serving a decade in prison for doing something veeeeeeeeery naughty. Who'd have thought :lol:

So anyway ... not sure how things work in other countries, but bread ... we have our local bakeries which I support frequently for bread and meat pies ... but then the supermarkets stock their own brand bread (which it's been revealed some of which is "partially baked" overseas) but also brands from national companies.

Now obviously supermarket and national brands tend to work out cheaper but they also taste like crap, hence my support of the local guy.

As for the glory of a toasted sandwiches...I have often wondered why we in the States at least in the North East say Grilled Cheese? There is never ever a grill in sight when I have seen or made one of these...I am assuming it is the lazy way of saying Griddle Cheese sandwich...

What kind of cheese (Kraft Singles etc or "real" American)?

To be fair, cooking something with a griddle is the same as using a grill.

I had grilled cheese the other day.

We had a few different cheeses in the fridge, but no bread..... used a couple waffles instead.

I avoid American Cheese as much as possible. Since I went to Culinary school, I've become slightly pretentious when it comes to my cheeses. And that, my friends, is hardly cheese.

As for why we call it "grilled cheese", it's an arument of semantics. The difference between a Cheese Sandwich, a Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and Grilled Cheese. Know what I'm sayin'?

I noticed how different Pork Chop tastes (when deep fried in lard) if you use an electric stove and a gas burner.

There a something that can't be explained but you really will notice.

Btw, who here eats escargot? Either broiled in butter or spicy coconut milk...... =P~

I've been known to partake in escargot broiled in butter from time to time. But the spicy coconut milk intrigues me.

As long as it's not overcooked, that stuff just melts in your mouth.
