A Yahoo Blog gives us a multitude of images of the upcoming Human Alliance release, Autobot Skids with Mikaela and Arcee. This set is preceded by Human Alliance Bumblebee and Sam, and Human Alliance Sideswipe with Epps. In this gallery, we see images of Skid's instructions, and the other features that Skids, Arcee, and even Mikaela have to offer.

Botcon 2009 and San Diego Comic Con 2009 revealed that two other sets will be joining the Human Alliance toy line. They are Barricade with Frenzy and Mudflap with Seymour Simmons and Chromia. You can check out the rest of the gallery here.

I kinda wish these guys would start turning up. Or be more available if they're out. I've only seen 1 HA Bumblebee and Sam (at target over the weekend) and made a point of getting it. Only real complaint right now is that the only arm articulation on Sam is in the shoulder, and even then I'm not complaining because at that size I'm happy with what there is.

Edit: after seeing those pics again after first posting this, I've gotta admit... Ryan knows how to use the black background better than this guy. It just shouldn't have been used in this set. With Mikaela maybe, because of the white clothing...but for the others...reserve the black bg for those figures that can actually benefit from the darker background...

I still think that Mudflap should have come with Leo, Skids should have come with Simmons (screen-accurate) and Mikaela should have come with Arcee and "the Twins", complete with the holographic drivers for screen-accuracy.

In fact, if you ask me, we should get the Human Alliance figures done into Two Packs. Like action battle packs or otherwise. Like a... I dunno...

1978(???) Camaro Bumblebee Vs. Barricade.
2010 Camaro Bumblebee Vs. Rampage.
Sideswipe Vs. Sideways.
Optimus Vs. Megatron.
The Twins Vs. Devastator.

Again, just suggestions.

I'm not impressed at all. The paintjob on the sides is very sloppy as is Mikaela's face. Then there are the doors on Skids' back they should not be there. It's a cool idea that it includes Arcee but she's so basic looking that i don't see how anyone can display them together.

I'm loving the HA line. Awesome concept. They should expand it to non-movie characters, though.

Bumblebee with Spike.
Hot Shot with Rad.
Starscream with Archeville.

I've thought the same thing about a US version of BTA and Kiss Players, only without KP's icky storyline.

Im really beginning to like the HA line. The quality of the bots is great, but sadly the humans dont look that good.... same goes for this set, that Mikaela is hurting
