Transformers Platinum Editions were on display. The currently available releases Omega Supreme and Optimus Prime were present, but the big news was Ultra Magnus. He's a redeco/retool of Transformers Prime Weaponizer Optimus Prime that comes with the Forge of Solus Prime as an accessory. Click here for the gallery.

I didn't know they had a Magnus in this line. I already preordered Optimus.
PLEASE contact me if you have any of the following, or know where I can find them:
[list]
[*]Cybertron Leader Class Optimus Prime's wings
[*]Powermaster Optimus Prime's Supermode Head
[*]Powermaster Optimus Prime's "Super Smokestacks", or whatever those big grey guns on his Supermode shoulders are called
[*]G1 Optimus Prime's left arm, preferably with the long smokestack

Thank you.

I'll be getting Omega and Optimus as I missed out on getting the original Energon releases. May get Magnus too as his Forge is painted, whereas the one on the voyager isn't.

Any idea yet as to where these toys are supposed to fit categorically in our collections? Omega Supreme could be intended to represent his Fall of Cybertron self, or his Generation 1 self. Is that Ultra Magnus for the Prime line, or is this Hasbro's idea of a proper "Classics" Magnus? Is that Optimus Prime supposed to be Energon Prime, or some other new/old incarnation now?

I need me one of those 'Keep Calm and Roll Out' t-shirts! :D

I've got Omega Supreme sat in my Pile of Loot and I'm not regretting it at all. Optimus I have no place for in my collection, and while I ended up passing on the Weaponizer Optimus figure, I may be persuaded to get this Platinum Magnus even if Hasbro is taking the piss with the size of those shoulders. #-o

TFWiki made a very good point regarding this. Since Optimus combines with Omega, who is clearly the WFC/Prime Omega, then Optimus is his TF Prime version. And that Magnus is clearly from the Prime continuity as well.

Those are good points, though, now I wonder why a retool of a $30 Prime mold would be added to a premium collectors' line instead of placed alongside similarly sized and priced toys in a current retail line. Why not release "Weaponizer" Magnus with the new Optimus and Bumblebee versions for Beast Hunters?

Another point to consider, is now that we have Metroplex on the horizon, are we THAT sure that Platinum Omega Supreme is definitively his WFC representation and not a neo-G1/Classics rendition? I don't see Fall of Cybertron emblazened on the box for Omega Supreme. The new claw arm does not make that Energon mold look any closer to his WFC character model, while it does, with the new paint apps and head sculpt, help evoke his G1 self rather well, but with a modern update, as has been the mission statement of Classics designs for the past several years. Also remember that WFC was designed to be heavily G1-inspired BEFORE Hasbro decided to make that fiction the basis for their modern Transformers continuity moving forward. Metroplex was also heavily featured in the Fall of Cybertron game, he but could easily pass for a Classics version, especially with that "vehicle carrier" mode that looks suspiciously terrestrial. I don't think his box has any call-outs to FoC either, just the 30th Anniversary celebration.

I guess we'll know more when the toy bios are revealed, but they will probably be kept very ambiguous, as usual.

Omega's toy bio makes explicit reference to Aligned Omega Supreme's character more than any other Omega Supreme.

Metroplex's bio makes him seem more like IDW Metroplex than anything else, despite his design being a more original one than like how IDW Metroplex looks (who resembles his G1 toy, but I wouldn't be surprised if IDW started drawing their Metroplex to look like the Titan Class toy)
