Pottermus_Prime wrote:I accept that his head is just a simple repaint also, but people are forever saying, it isnt G1 things will be different in new lines etc, so thats what im taking it as. To me this is how Blaster has been made to look, so im cool with that. It is a bit wierd that he's in the classics line, which is supposed to pay homage to G1 isnt it, but obviously not.

Is that not being equally ungrateful?

Some of us can get a lot of accurate information from a single picture.

No, Archer said the designs were done working with Paramount, and then sent to Takara/Tomy so they can start working on the toys.
The designs are still done by Bay's art dept.

Deluxe sized? The Hell?
My Energon Galvatron is going to beat up on that toy until it learns some respect and grows into a proper Ultra Class figure.
Deluxe...
wtf mate...
wtf...
GetterDragun wrote:Gattai Da wrote:And you can say this based on what? I saw him in person, have you?
... that makes absolutely no flippin' difference. He's still a deluxe. He looks the same size as the others. It doesn't change the fact that he'll still be dwarfed by Powerglide and shorter than Prime. I'm honestly wondering how you didn't realise this when typing that.
I know G1 had poor scale too but that was the 80s. And quite frankly it was rare they did something THIS nuts.
Scale? Maybe you should realize an A-10 tank killer has a 50 plus foot wingspan. He should be bigger.
GetterDragun wrote:Speaking about that. Alternators might make it back next year, but it's a very small might.

That doesn't matter. What we want is a "rough" scale and bot modes come first - Transformers aren't "Real" vehicles, they don't HAVE to turn into full size jets, etc. as in the sky and far away you can't tell the difference anyway, plus they can compress and expand a lot.
I don't like that people are even defending this. Even if you have your own reasons, it's obvious people are upset. Fans just don't seem to care about other fans anymore.

Sabrblade wrote:Well, since he's a Deluxe, that means he's the perfect size to fight Titaniums Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus.
Gattai Da wrote:Guys,
SINCE THIS IS A COLLECTOR ORIENTATED LINE AND EVEN KIDS WILL RECOGNISE GALVATRON IF PEOPLE BITCH ENOUGH THEY MIGHT CHANGE THE SIZE.
If everyone is positive, nothing will happen. Hasbro does indeed browse these kinds of boards, but they'll just see there isn't a problem. Just because you LIKE the figure doesn't mean you have to settle for second best. If we all start a big hub-bub about this, Hasbro might change the scale.
Galvatron NEEDS to be an Ultra. And Powerglide needs to be a deluxe, for that matter... but Galvatron especially.
If anything, it's not Hasbro that's in the wrong most of the time - it's the fans for not taking a united front.
