Good thing I took my sweet ass time to open the figs I bought last week (only opened leader Prime who wasn't on sale anyhow...) Returned 2 deluxes and a voyager to Walmart and bought the same figs plus another deluxe and still saved $4 at TRU today.

This really sux. Why didn't they have it start 5/29 or close to that date. Did this sale start this Sat. 6/6??? That's so lame. All of the good stuff is sold out online. Guess people don't care about payin shipping.

The sale was at the store beginning yesterday (Sunday.)

i wanna do a mass TRU run tomorrow, but don't want to come up short. Probably shoulda went today. If they stock tomorrow or Wed. I'll be happy though

I returned all the voyagers and deluxes I brought yesterday and re-purchased them at TRU. The only ones I did not return were the Leaders, scouts and deluxes I brought from Target. TRU/Walmart and Target around here (New York) seem to have received different assortments of deluxe figures. I'll be waiting for Target to run their clearance soon, since it seems like the ROTF toys are not moving much. It was smart of TRU to have this sale to clear some of their ROTF inventory.

I think they'll probably wait until the movie is released before putting anything on clearence. That alone will probably help their sales. Maybe they'll run a similar sale to TRU and apparently Walmart, though.

Thats what i ment to say I went to walmart and they said no such sale and they didnt have the exclusives.

Picked up Deluxe Sideswipe today at my local TRU. Woohoo!!!

G1 sideswipe was my first TF, he's beat up beyond repair, but i still have him & I bought the Commemorative re-issue a few years ago. ROTF Sideswipe will be my first deluxe figure overall, and 2nd from the modern era/movie line. Ultimate BB was the first. I really only collect MP and Ultimate editions, although i don't think I'll get the new updated BB. I really want the leader class Prime too, but i'll wait for a sale.

I picked up Skids yesterday. I wasn't planning on buying Skids and Mudflap, but I couldn't pass up Skids at $7.99. I just wish I hadn't already bought 3 other Deluxes at full price!

I wanted to get a Voyager on sale, too, but all they had was SS, OP, and you-know-who - a certain Constructicon who's going to be warming shelves across the country for the rest of the year. If they had had Megatron, The Fallen, or even Stratosphere, I probably would have gotten one.

picked up 2 sideswipes, 2 soundwaves, 2 breakaways, 1 rampage, 1 sideways.

passed on bumblebee (can't stand the EYYEEEESSS), and all the voyagers (only had SS, ironhide, demolisher, and OP)

they did have tons of everything though...except soundwave...only 3 of those. everything else had like 20+ of each, both in the front of the store and in the back.

at first i picked up the whirl/bludgeon 2-pack, which was like $35 or something, and when i got to the register, i noticed it had a pretty bad dent on the corner that i didn't see earlier. I decided not to get it, and was gonna go put it back, but the cashier lady said she'd take care of it. she placed it in the bagging area, and then started talking to me about collecting and whether or not i was gonna open these, and next thing i know, she had bagged up the whirl/bludgeon 2pack in a giant bag with everything else =)

Bottom of my receipt says I saved $32.00....actually comes out to more like a savings of $67...

I've never been able to get so many figures on sale.

They have voyagers for $17.99 and deluxes for $7.99. I think those are the only classes on sale. If you've been holding out on some figures head on out to TRU and get them.

I think someone is playing a prank on me, the only figures they don't have are the only ones I want. Hopefully they'll restock before the sale ends.

Geez...thats kinda shady. I would have said something if I were you, but its also her fault for putting it where she was bagging things. Two wrongs don't make a right though!

I doubt they restock .. I'm in the same boat iI want mixmaster and longhaul.. but nowhere to be found at my tru.

My TRU sets the record for worst impersination of a toy store. They have had the sale signs up since it started but have yet to restock the shelves.

don't forget, if you have the physical ad from TRU, you can price match at walmart (if your wally hasn't already reduced prices to $7.88)

I know if the box is defective they'll give you a decent discount if its the last one but god damn you got a discount. I got my leader prime from the first movie for $25 cause the box was destroyed (hell there was barely a box left. Figure was mint though). Didnt the security thing go off? It obviously wasnt rung up. Look at it this way, its just payment for all the BS and unneeded price hikes they've done over the years.
