Def gonna order from BBTS if they get some in stock, otherwise probably from Aced Toy Store. Probably the most BA Optimus that has been offer in my opinion.

Going to pass on the pre-order for now. Never liked the idea of paying up front for pre-orders and that sentiment was strengthened after shopping at Captured Prey. Will wait and see what happens. Who knows, with the two recent BBTS pre-orders, maybe they will pick up this as well.

I don't like the head. Otherwise I would've bought this guy in an instant.

I like it and think it is very nice but for 100$ I could get the similar looking IDW Orion Pax and a whole bunch of other figures.

What in the heck is up with that head.

I actually think this looks pretty good. I'm sure this is a prototype paint job, not final plastic. So colors are not accurate just yet.

They say August release date, but I highly doubt that unless they really kept this under wraps and these are old photos.

It would be nice if someone I have done business before carries this, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen?

The head is looking worse because the picture is darker and he doesn't have his light piped or colored eyes yet. Only comment I have is the side of the vehicle could use some silver stripes, and also doesn't the head have longer ears like the comic art? Also, why red paint apps on the legs??? Make those Silver!!!

I really wished Hasbro would have revealed a newer voyager of and IDW Prime at SDCC, but sadly they didn't.

Was checking the stock level and found out they only had 30 left so I bit the bullet

I know Hegemon had a few runs, but don't want to risk missing out.

Captured Prey Toyworld: TW-02 Orion

That Bayformer/TF Prime split chest is a huge eyesore for me. (and yes I know IDW Prime was inspired by those ugh)I'm not a fan of the racing wing in truck mode either. Hegemon was G1 cartoon accurate, so I thought a G1 cartoon accurate classics Prime was a no brainer. Oh well, money saved. It seems nobody can really top Henkei Prime.

I don't know I think this has a lot going for it, over Henkei Prime, which I do own. Hands and feet are more articulated. Sizes well with Hegemon and Igear Van Bro's (Henkei always was too small). No weird arm kibble.

In the gray prototypes the chest was much more cleaner and simple, I'm not sure what the final will look like, but the colored pics looks like too much is going on now. I think it would help if they used a darker translucent blue on the chest to hide some of that.

That was the very first thought I had. It's so thin and pale it may as well be clear when looking at it head-on. Really not digging this at this point.

I think the larger size it to scale it to their own Bomber Megatron. This may very well end up as my definitive Optimus Prime. And if the Magnus they're making is a bit larger, they can just shut up and take my money.

That's... annoying... Hegemon is a really good size and having a large OP isn't ideal

Edit: Measured Hegemon. He is 7 1/2 inches to the top of his head... So that is 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches taller. Now I'm not sure I want this guy If he really is that far out of scale with Hegemon I'm going to think twice about buying anything from Toyworld in the future! I'm actually quite pissed off about this

Yeah I'm not sure, cause they originally advertised it to be same height as Hegemon. Not sure why Ace Toy Store is saying it is a larger size now (looks like Kapow is saying the same thing too). 9-10 inches is either correct or they goofed. Scaling with Bomber Megatron does make sense though.

If it is not Hegemon height I will not be purchasing this. I guess I will have to wait for more info/pics.

I've always thought ToyWorld's figures are bigger than they should ideally be. They never seem to fit perfectly with a particular collection in my opinion, be it Classics or Masterpiece. Eventually they'll do something where size is no issue.

I am soooo hoping it is a case of miscommunication

Since I've already pre-ordered with Aces I'm not going to bother cancelling, but if the upscaling is true, then I'll be very hesitant to buy anything from Toyworld once they have finished the Throttlebots.

Hegemon is actually a really good size, the problem is that most of the Decepticons should be voyagers instead of deluxes. If we can get the seekers, Astrotrain, Octane, Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge in voyager size then he would be a perfect fit, but then the Decepticons would fit with the Autobots as well
