Think it's cool that TW managed to squeeze in a Transforming Headmaster on this toy.

Nice catch, I missed that. I think it is the first image of the headmaster fig.

While clicking through the pics over at TFW. just noticed that TW Fort Max was on display alongside TW Grand Max.

Image

Also noticed that TW Grand Max and TW Fort Max have no paper stickers applied to the toys at TFCON Chicago. Yet TW Grand Max on the Chimungmung site shows the toy with paper decals stickers on the toy. So i'm guessing both toys come with paper decals sticker sheets.

Um...why? It's not like TW had other headmasters...except that they do. Why is this a surprise?

Thanks for the video link.

Kinda knew there would be a sticker sheet. When I noticed last night that the TW GM toy on the Chimgmung.com site had stickers. While the TFCON TW GM and FM toys had no stickers.

It's like the colors are swapped on the figures and while Grand looks right, Fort does not. Drives me nuts. Still, I think this os a great idea. Shame he doesn't come with the dual cannon or a Mastersword.

Not sure if I should create a new thread, but the Fortress Maximus colored version is available for preorder on TFSource:

ToyWorld - TW-H04 Infinitor

$114.95

I don't have the energy to bring the pictures in here (looks like I have to download them and host them myself.) When BBTS preorder goes live, I can bring the pics over here. This must be the animation color scheme, right? I seem to remember the blue being deeper and more royal...

Wouldn't it be awesome if the same guys who KOed and enlarged toyworlds throttlebots step up and enlarge the crap out of this mold ? Seeing it at least the size of maketoys utopia or bigger would really do this mold justice. Right now its nothing more than a stand alone figure that scales with nothing. The whole thing that makes citybots cool is well...theyre cities.

I think it would be unlikely - ToyWorld moved factories because it was suspected that the previous factory they were in were also producing the oversized KOs - I think that's why we haven't heard much from them in a while, and why we haven't seen any more of the Throttlebots or their tested Ultra Mangus or Bomber Megatron in a while.

I hope that ToyWorld can keep up this release schedule.

Toyworld kind of lost me a long time ago.

They always seem to fool us with a first release that bears cartoon accuracy. Then with each future release from the same line, they veer further and further away from cartoon accuracy. They really fooled everybody with Grind Rod. With Aurora they hinted they were going in a different direction but moderately. But Trace was an abomination that bears no resemblance to the cartoon Chase. They also ruined the uniform scale with that figure. I almost quit buying the line after Trace. I decided to stick with it because the combiner looks really nice. I might end up displaying the combiner and forgetting the Throttlebots on my shelf. Im not thrilled with a voyager scale Wideload, especially when they have six members to keep them same size like the Constructicons. Hardbone was another example how they nailed cartoon accuracy in the first release. (minus the faceplate) Then they showed their true colors with their X-wing fighter that they dared to say resembled Brainstorm's alt-mode. And their "gator" looks more like a cross between a turtle and a monitor lizard and has the head on the robot chest which I hate. Sure you can do the whole Punch/Counterpunch thing if you don't mind screw holes and upside down fists. Even their Main line they went from G1 cartoon (Hegemon) to IDW (Orion) then back to G1 cartoon (Bumblebee) And they plan to go back to IDW with the Stealth Megatron. They need to make up their mind. I would caution anyone against investing in their Dinobots until they have revealed all five members. Toyworld is known for unwanted surprises.

Thanks for the updated info on the factory change. Hope they chose a better factory and not a worse one.

Wondering if Bomber Megatron and Ultra Magnus are still happening. Hope they are.

Thought the IDW HasTak Bomber Megatron was too tiny. Would gladly Buy a TW Bomber Megatron in the Voyager-Ultra toy scale.

Looked online and couldn't find any pics of Toyworld Ultra Magnus, if anyone has a pic can they please post it in this thread. if their is no pics, please can you give a description.

My personal hypothesis is that those molds were abandoned in the other factory when ToyWold picked up and left - meaning that they're moving on until they can get the needed capital to rebuild the molds.

That's just a baseless hypothesis, but it might explain their protracted silence.

I'm not keen on Bomber Megs; I feel that that IDW Tank Megatron will suit my needs just fine. I am hoping for a good Ultra Magnus though. FansProject Magnus is showing its age and KFC's is far too monstrous for my classics display.

Except this is being made for fans on a budget. that's what it is in a nut shell.

Just because you don't like something doesn't make it a inferior nothing.

TW FM is in Marvel G-1 TF comics scale.

TW might plan to release more city bots in this 9.1 scale like Scorponok, Metroplex and Trypticon.

PE Deathstalker-Scorponok might be a Leader toy scale. AEC Metroplex is a leader scale toy.

TW FM's toy can still perform it's city bot toy function, just on a much smaller toy scale. Minicons, Micromasters, Legends and basics can all use this toy in city mode and other modes.

My god, X. You really are borderline autistic when it comes to how accurate toys are to their original designs from an atrociously animated, badly written cartoon from 30 years ago designed to sell toys.

And I say that as someone with diagnosed Aspergers.

I mean, seriously, does anyone even remember the Throttlebots from the original cartoon? Did they ever do anything? Did they have actual personalities beyond "generic good guy who's here because he has a toy"? According to TFWiki they appeared for all of 3 episodes- in very minor roles at that.

And actually hoping that some unscrupulous scum-suckers would take ToyWorld's hard work and bootleg it- and saying you'd rather have the bootleg rather than the real deal- that's pretty low.
