Kiss players

hello everyone i just have a question about the Kiss players collection. my question is why? who are the girls? and why must hot rodimus only be released via kiss players. any info will be appreciated. thanks

Ive heard that (in Japan) the kiss players line has prooved rather popular. But the change in direction by Takara is a result of the 'merger' (ie takeover) with Tomy.
I think the main reason we're not getting Hot Rod is simply that the line is on haiatus after Rumble. It (like every other current tf line) may come back after the movie, but no one knows for sure.

Convoy, Hot Rodimus, and Autorooper "Power up" when the corresponding girl kisses them. As for KP Hot Rod, the alternators are on hiatus for the movie and it is unknown if the line will continue. I, too, wish that Hasbro would release him. Syao Syao and the girly "love" packaging are the only things that put me off. Plus, my dad would trip if he knew about the line. He is interested in Transformers, too, and I'm suprised he hasn't found out or asked me about them.

Its a wierd concept but its the only way to get figures which continue the BT type line. The painted finish really does look so much better than coloured plastic.

Is "trip" a good thing or bad thing in this case?
One thing to note, the figurines are very quite small (Less than 2" tall). I own Autorooper and Hot Rodimus. There is very little sexual appeal when you see the tiny girls in person.

I got Kiss Hot Rod for my birthday on last Saturday (and not one well wish from the lot of you, you heathens).
He rocks. Absolutely fan-tastic. XioXio (Syao-Syao?) is cute and its fun hearing her bitch on the included CD.

Generic Anime babes, except for the BTA girls who all have roots in actual TF stuff.
I forget the background of Sunstreakers and Broadcast's, but Alert's girl is AI, the chick from RiD who does all their tactical info and such.
