I've said it before, but now with the super suped up Megs Movie toy we've seen, I have to say it again. There is a striking resemblence between Transtech Megs and the Movie Megs. Even the head design could have been ripped off. Check it out:
Transtech Megs:

Movie Megs:
(sorry, it was the only pic I could find on short notice.)

Yep, and they may have hit the nail right on the head with that one

Not that I mind it really, I love the Transtech designs. Just wish the movie CG design looked like the toy in this case.

From ToplessRobot.com:• "Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is marginally better than sh***ing your pants, but it takes a lot longer." Very well put.

I liked most of the Transtech designs more than these movie designs. Could be all the rounded edges or the fact Cheetor could've got a head like the Guyver, just something I liked about them.

I seriously see NO resemblance.
To me the designs of Transtech and TF:LAM are two VERY different things.
Oh and by the way...
Transtech > TF:LAM

They share the same busy details and hulking proportions but other than that I don't see much similarity. The Transtech design lacks the 'bones' details going instead with armor plating and the hands look a lot more useful. The Transtech heads apart from the one on the body all look more shogun-esque and none of them have fangs, nostrils, or wide-spread eyes. If they'd adopted the Transtech look of either Megatron (especially w/ the top-right head) or Starscream I'd be much more pleased.

transtech megatron's head is just meant to be the decepticon symbol (or vice versa) that's all..

Also, transtech Megs has his BFG. No BFG on the movie Megs. For that, he claps his hands together and makes a gun. Meh.

I feel you with that, but you gotta know I just don't think they can make the toys
EXACTLY like the movie.....
Hell I'm surprised the toymakers were able to get more than 25% close to it  .
