Anyone going to make some custom fully articulated hands for Giant?
It's the one solid thing Herc had going for him self. I'd like to have Giant hold WST Megatron or many other weapons, but with the MP01 hands it's not the best set.

Would anyone else with Giant be interested in a hand upgrade for Giant?
or am I alone?

I don't have Giant in-hand quite yet... but I will say that was the #1 thing that disappointed me when he was revealed. I would definitely welcome some fully articulated hands for him, if either the cost was low or they came in a kit with some other cool stuff.

WST Megs or even Shocks is too big in scale for Giant.

How so? FP Bruticus can hold WST shockwave.
And FP Bruty is smaller then Giant.
Hell Herc can hold legends Megatron.

I actually really like the hands that came with Giant, the groove that allows him to solidly hold his gun is a really nice touch. It seems that when working on a smaller scale such as that of Giant, articulated fingers tend to lose their grip, look at the MP seekers, or CrazyDevy's G1 hands Sure they can hold a fist, but when you put an object in their hands they get all butterfingers.

To hold a mini Shockwave or Megatron gun would be cool but I would prefer they be made specifically to be held by Giant. Perfect scale, perfect fit in the hand and utilizing the Giant hand-grip system.

The hands he comes with are more than acceptable to me. I don't need every finger to flex like Hercules. That's wasted articulation IMO. I only need Giant to hold his gun or make fists. I think of the character as a giant hammer. A hammer only needs to be a hammer.

I dunno, I still think I can get better poses when the hands can express emotion better.

but it's just me, maybe it's time for a Shapeways campaign.

Yeah, it would be nice if they are fully articulated. But hands like Bruticus sometimes bug me as they sometimes don't line up when I want them to. And hands like Unicron or Primus don't change things too much. Hmmmm.... :-?
