My Takara Energon "Energon Ironhide" came today, MISB and $20 shipped! I chose the green version rather than the blue to (IMHO) better match Energon Cliffjumper for Powerlinking porpoises. I mean purposes. Which brings me to a rhetorical question: why on Earth do they insist on linking Ironhide with E. Jetfire? Totally different scales there, he's a much better match w/ CJ. <shrug>
So what exactly do I have here? Is it a Takara re-release or something? It has a "20th Anniversary" logo in the uper-left corner.
I have this weird urge to leave him MISB- he looks great, and I love the Japanese boxes, so lively, altho the box itself has a crumped edge, so it's not mint but it shows well enough. Then again, I barely have space to disply him loose, much less boxed. So out he comes, I guess!

Jungle Bonecrusher - He's one weird looking robot, more of an alien than a robot but I like the colours better than the original.
Camshaft - I love the clear teal plastic on him, he looks much better than Swindle, still an average TF though.
My parter has named him "Penisbot" due to his erectable appendage...
Landmine - Wow, what an awesome alt mode but his bot mode is ugly, it's strange skeleton like features make me wonder if he was originaly inteded to be a Decepticon, anyone feel the same?
Overcast - Ugh... I knew the mold was sub par but it's the paint apps that ruin this guy, it looks to me like the yellow paint wasn't mixed properly because it's very thin and blotchy, it should jump out from the glossy black but instead looks like I coloured it in with a highlighter felt.
Hasbro's QC is really starting to bug me.

I got mine at Wal-Mart--I had just started seeing some AS voyagers a couple weeks ago, but hadn't seen any AS deulxes--then, lo and behold, the Walmart restocked and I reaped all the benefits

Agree and agree. The Alt mode is fantastic, with its own suspension and even seats, but the robot mode seems to suffer from this high realism since it seems a bit on the flimsy side and is kind of ugly. Actually, if the head was different, I wouldn't mind it much, but it's like a mix between Hannibal Lecter in restraints with Darth Sidious from Star Wars.
Transforming Landmine from alt to robot mode is rather easy, but I had difficulty getting him back into a dune buggy. His rear lights can pop off easily and it took me a lot of trial and error to get those tanks that jut out of the back of the vehicle just right to snap the rear into place. Worse, his head pops off WAY too easily!
Still I like him quite a bit, probably a 7.5/10; he definitely does look more Decepticon-ish than I would have thought.
I'm a pretty big fan of Stockade, the other new All Spark deluxe. I think he's just a solid overall Transformer with a transformation that snapped into place easily and assuredly. The only negative I can really find with Stockade is that he isn't a terribly exciting figure, but one that collectors who enjoy a solid, well-designed figure should appreciate. I think the All Spark blue accents on him are subtle and well-placed enough to add to the figure and his arm gimmick is very well done and less frustrating than the one the Barricade figure has.
I would rate Stockade about an 8/10.

I won a Classics Bumblebee, Ramjet, and Grimlock from the same seller on ebay to cut down on shipping...
I told myself
I was done...
But I had to get a few more to open...
But this extra buying has convinced me that the only movie figures that I will get are Landmine and Premium Starscream.

I hope Stockade gets an Autobot repaint, I'm on the fence about the mold but need one more Autobot to balance out my movie collection so I'd get him in a heartbeat if repainted but that probably won't happen with the movie line rapping up.
Once Black Arcee arrives I'm done with the movie stuff unless there's a Stockade repaint.

Offroad Ironhide, Evac, Landmine, Incinerator, Cliffjumper, Camshaft and another Swindle (some of you know that I plan on doing a number of kitbashes with Camshafts and Swindles, so that explains the 2nd Swindle). I forgot to put SWTF Tank Cody in the attached pic. Oh well.
I LOVE blue Ironhide. The blue is dark blue instead of black, dark enough to still be cool, and the arms and legs are gray instead of black, plus there are a LOT more paint apps than black Ironhide.
As everyone knows, half of the Blackout/Evac mold hangs off his back, making him somewhat annoyingly small. Still, I like Evac. What those of you that don't have Incinerator yet might not know is that he suffers from the same thing: half of his bulk hangs off his back, making him rather small for a voyager.
Oh, you may notice that I haven't attached the blades to Incinerator. The blades are fine, but I kinda like him without the blades. You know in sci-fi movies and games, the kind of energy weapons that a person has to put practically their whole forearm into, so that the weapon is essentially wrapped around the whole arm, and basically looks like it becomes an extension of the person instead of just a guy holding a gun? Well, that's the vibe I get off of Incinerator like this. Its not that he doesn't have hands, its just that its easy to pretend that his hands and arms are in some sort of massive energy blaster cannons. If it was just one arm, instead of both, this would also remind me a lot of Shockwave. Either way, I like the effect. And afterall, "Incinerator" reminds me of a guy that burns things to the ground, not a guy that shreds his enemies with his blades, so I think his name actually works better at discribing him displayed like this, as opposed to being displayed with the blades.
Of course, that's one of the things I like about Incinerator: He has a lot of character and play/posing potential.
I like Landmine, he's very cool. But between his military alt mode, his weapon, his claws, and his face, he really does seem too "intense" for an Autobot.
Anyway, so that's my haul.

Skipped on Camshaft-- I just can't look at that bot mode.
Also picked up Offroad Ironhide.
QUESTION for those who have Offroad--
Does this figure still have any issues, i.e. shoulders??
I haven't opened him yet, and if there are issues, even though I really dig the look, I'll take him back and save this money for a couple Animated figs.
