I don't know if anyone posted about this so I thought i might.
A few things about some of the transformers bothered me.
First did anyone else realize that the Decepticons sucked alot.
Frenzy gets beaten up the whole movie, Bonecrusher shouldn't of
been in the movie at all. He was in the movie for what 20 sec.
He rolled down the high way transformed and got killed by getting stabbed in the head, totally useless. Blackout gets killed but a crotch shot, Devestator or brawl as he shoulda been called gets killed and megatron accidently gets killed by Sam because for whatever reason Megatron is attacking him exposing his chest.
As for the autobots does it bother anyone that the token black guy of the autobots gets ripped in half.

Don't get me wrong i did enjoy this movie and want to see it again to notice other things but the casualties were a litle wierd to me. Let me know what you think.

I thought it was pretty cool when Bonecrusher ran through that bus.

The only thing that really bothered me was that most of the Decepticons got taken out by the humans. I would much rather have seen Jazz take out Blackout, only to get his ass handed to him by Brawl, which would have led into Ironhide demolishing Brawl, much like it played out in the video game.

yeah, it was a little disappointing that most of the 'cons were taken out by humans. It's kinda unfortunate that bumblebee and jazz were taken out of comission right at the beginning of the fight and prime didn't show up until later.

Frenzy was a tough critter to kill. He kept coming back.

It too a sh*tload of heavy missile fire to incapacitate Scorpunok.

Bumblebee too out a Decepticon, as did Ironhide and Ratchet.

Starscream flew away. And Barricade slipped away quietly I think.

Blackout took a lot of hits before he was taken out.

Megatron was nearly unstoppable. The reason why he died was because he didn't know Sam knew about the Cube's ability to destroy his Spark.

If anything, the Autobots seemed weaker than the Decepticons. Jazz got pulled into two pieces and simply dies. Bumblebee gets his legs blown apart. And Prime gets a thumping from Megatron. Blackout took out an entire military base, which is pretty impressive, as is Starscream taking out those F-22's.

NOTHING ensure they are really dead...im sure a few of them will pop-back in the sequel. Barricade and Scorponok aren't officially dead. Me=gatron is scrapped, but did you REALLY beleived he would be dead for good?

Totally agree on the black guy of the autobots kicking the bucket.

I've always shook my head at the notion of "Black" Transformers. It ranks up there with the notion of a "Gay" Tracks. But then, whatever floats your boat.

All I can say about the humans is that at least this time they were't simply bent over by the Decepticons time after time like you see in the cartoons. In the end, the humans fought back which is something you never seen in the cartoon.

i personally think that the decepticons were wrecking the autobots throughout the whole movie except for the bonecrusher/op fight. It seemed by some lucky quirk the autobots got away from being messed up by a decepticon. When Ironhide and ratchet were covering sam as he was running to the building were getting messed up big time and they were only defending him against one transformer.

Here is my 2 cents about jazz. he was my favorite autobot hands down. but it makes sense that OP's first Leutient would try and take on the leader himself, being OP's second in command would make sense that he felt it necessary to go one on one with the big man and they couldnt have megs die by the hand of a regular autobot

since when are op & meg brothers?

I read in an interview somewhere that Micheal Bay wanted Jazz to be a different car, but he saved money by using a GMC car because he had a deal with them. Maybe that's why he killed him off.

prime is the leader he has to stay
ratchet the medic...has to stay
iron hide the weapons guy...has to stay
BB has to stay because of sam...

why would jazz stay?

Perhaps it would be less believable if all the Autobots survived, and a bunch of Decepticons didn't. Jazz was the token casualty.

Jazz died because he was black...thats so dumb! Jazz is cool but NO! he has to die because black usually dies in Hollywood production!

Killing Jazz is a dumb move!

They didn't kill Jazz because he was black. I hate that kind of sh*t stupid argument. Put the race card away for gods sake.

He may have sounded black, but that's only been because they tried to make him the cool one. They tried to make him spunky, funky, and energetic. Jazz was a SILVER Solstice. There is no black, white, asian, etc in Transformers. They're all friggin' robots. They simply learned how to talk via the internet, radio, etc, and they picked their styles from it. Nothing more.

for you to say that jazz wasnt an afro-ameri-bot in this movie is plain silly....there is no other conclusion to the way he was portrayed....i know he sure wasnt acting white was he.

I don't consider Ratchet to be a medic. more of a mechanic. robots are mechanical, so someone who fixes them up should be called a mechanic. it makes sense. robots don't get diseases or illness, they just get parts broken. a mechanic would be a person to fix those parts, not a doctor or any other kind of medical worker.

First Gen, You are taking crazy pills; just so you can stay SANE in this thread.

Honestly, the "Token Black Guy" thing doesn't even figure into this movie, being that there were THREE others to speak of; two of them being rather important to the overall story. But Jazz's death was... Unnecessary. There is NO reason that Jazz had to die.

Now, back to the Subject matter of this thread. The deaths of the Decepticons SUCKED. Especially Megatron's death. But honestly, I think that he'll be back. There's no way that they can even make another movie without the leader of the Decepticons. It'll be really interesting to see where they go with Starscream(What happened to Barricade?), and what he does as the only "Survivor"...

I am sure that Galvatron will be in the next movie... as a repaint.

true, but at the same time false. Ratchet was able to detect sams "pheramones" which implies he can most likely sense and detect other biological things as well...in anycase you knew what i meant..ratchet is the one that fixes the autobots regardless of what you label it

I mean, he had to be Asian, right?

And clearly Boncrusher was a Pacific-Islander-bot. There is too much racism in the Transformers movie![/sarcasm]
