Or any alt mode. Jets in space, cars with hydrofoils to go on water....

People often forget, the alt mode is just a disguise. They don't physically turn into those things with their limitations, they just look like them with some advantages, like better speed and maneuverability in jet mode compared to robot mode. They are still super advanced alien robot life forms from space.

Actually I believe they have hydrofoil vehicles that go over water, and I don't know of any Transformer that turns into a jet that travels through space. A space shuttle like the one that Astrotrain turns into can travel through space or through an atmosphere. In fact, any shuttle would have to travel through air before going into space.

Well...Starscream did! at least in one or some of the G1 animated series, as well.as at the end of one of the Bayformers movies

Are you sure he wasn't in robot mode? Whether he was in robot mode or jet mode is immaterial because robots are able to withstand extremely cold temperatures and airless vacuums that humans can't. For all the different jobs they've got robots doing, I wish they'd come out with one that can cut hair.

I am one of those people, cause I did forget until you brought it up. I guess another good example would be Energon because they spent a lot of time driving through space(because they had to sell the toys).

The Autobots also engaged hydrofoil mode in "Ultimate Doom: Part 1". An upgrade yes but something your average car couldn't do without major modifications.

The Airialbots also had no difficulty flying in space during Season 3.

I noticed they still haven't regained the rights to use Octane for the name. I wonder how they lost it in the first place. When I watched the video on how to transform Tankor, the guy said they went with Tankor because they didn't have the rights to Octane. Now they're calling him Octone, which is one letter different. I noticed with the first two Decepticon triple changers they went with name that pertained to both vehicles they turned into. Blitzwing turns into a tank and a jet so they call him Blitzwing because a tank is known to do blitz type of attacks, and the wing is fairly obvious because he turns into a jet with wings. Astrotrain makes sense because he turns into a space shuttle, hence the Astro part of the name and a train, hence the train. What's a good name for Octane that would pertain to his tanker truck and his jet whether it's a cargo plane like Tankor is or another kind of plane. Next would be to somehow come up with newer names of Sandstorm, Broadside, and Springer that had to do with their vehicles.

As explained in the general Titans Return toys thread, another company has obtained the rights to use "Octane", namely a sporting goods company for a brand of arrows. You'd think that wouldn't be a problem since Toys and Sporting Goods are two different things, but legally they're lumped in one trademark category for some strange reason. That also partially explains the "Decepticon" prefix as "Octone" (his Japanese name btw) by itself would be too similar to "Octane".

Well I got the last of the Decepticon spy tablets Ravage. It's not too bad. Of the three, my favorite one is Rumble. I know the Gobots had one that turned into a train, Loco. Was that one able to avoid traveling on tracks while in vehicle mode too?

Octane was so called because of the name of the jet fuel that was used(octane)

Broadside because one of his sides is broad....well....the flat top part

Sandstorm because one of his forms is a dune buggy

Springer's a weird one? coz nothing in his name suggests his various forms

Powerglide...well...he's a jet...which is under power

Rewind....something you can do with a cassette

Eject...something else you can do with a cassette

Reflector...well...he's a camera that prob has reflecting lenses

Whirl....well...his blades whirl round

Thrust...something a jet has

Well I looked at the video for Ravage, and it wasn't because I had a hard time understanding the instructions. It was because I was hoping there were extra modes I could've posted about. I also saw a Buzzsaw spy tablet, but I see no reason to get it because I feel I already did when I bought Laserbeak.

One difference I should mention between the two Bumblebees is that one of them is a Last Knight Bumblebee.

Reading about these new Transformers being sighted is frustrating because the Walmart I go to has had the same ones for several weeks, and I want Chromedome really bad without having to mess with buying one online. Have they done newer versions of Tracks; and if they have, do they still having him changing into a Corvette that can fly?

I imagine a terrorist could do as much damage by crashing an oil tanker into a filled with oil as they could with jumbo jet.

The original G1 toys were a bit smaller than a deluxe, like you can see below the comparison between G1 Astrotrain and deluxe Classics Astrotrain.

No I don't. My mom got rid of them and talked me into getting out of Transformers because I'd play with new ones for a while and then just let them lay around. I got a good deal because I found him at a garage sale. He was damaged a little, and I had to use a piece from a wire hangers to keep part of him intact. The one I had was like they showed him in pamphlets and cartoon in that he was purple.

They have G1 and G2 and countless other incarnations of Transformers. They should do a G5 billion series.

It could be a lucky number for a lot of people because if you had 5 billion dollars, you'd be rich; and if you only had 5 billion cents, which is our smallest unit of currency, you'd still be rich because you'd have 50 million dollars. Plus they could say that it takes place in the far distant future.

Has Hasbro ever tried to release futuristic versions of what the cartoon showed some of the Transformers looked like before they were made to look like Earth vehicles like Jazz and the jets who would be shaped like pyramids and maybe some others that I can't remember?

well they've already done Cybertronian modes for certain characters with the WFC/FOC toy range as well as 3p companies + TR Blurr & Kup have retained their G1 looking Cybertronian modes

speaking of 3p compaines....Impossible Toys brought out the Tetra Squadron a while back(but i don't think that they were well received by some collectors)

Do my Ransack, Depthcharge, Rollbar, and that motorcycle Transformer have much value? If not, I have a few minicons including a Decepticon that turns into a dump truck.

If you're talking about those jets being on eBay, I can't buy those because they ruined eBay by not making it possible to buy things without a credit or debit card.
