I went to the website http://www.transformersmovie.com where they showed closeup detailed images of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. While admiring the great detail of these move bots from head to toe, I could not help but notice something odd about the crotch areas of Bee and Prime. (Not that I was purposely looking there, but it's just so obvious.)

Now is it just me, or does Bumblebee look like he has not only his license plate, but his gas cap where his crotch is? Was he peeing gasoline on Simmons in the movie?

Now we come to Prime's crotch area which I found even more disturbing. Now, is it just me again, or is that his truck stickshift jutting out of his crotch? Or some truck part of some sort? What is that thing? Well, maybe it's just that one image of him. I don't know.

If these robot designers are doing all of this on purpose for a laugh, I hate to see what they are going to do to Arcee and perhaps Elita One.

its not the designers fault, its how you think of it as being the way you think of it. its your own veiw that makes it the way you see it.

Whats with all the recent intrest in bot crotches lately. This is like the billionth post this week!?!

I have the CliffJumper redeco next to me right now, and I don't see anything wrong with it.

Granted Arcee looks naked on that one comic cover where she's standing with Prime, but realy people need to go find a fix for their cyberwang facinations.

Go get some TransformerPorn, and get it out of your system already

I am simply bothered by this, and movie Elita One's bio, along with a naked-looking movie Arcee on a comic cover, because these toys are made for kids. I'm wondering if some parents have already noticed these "subtle things" and are complaining to Hasbro.

But then again, we are a very Puritanical thinking people (though our society's behavior behavior says otherwise). Maybe TFs, like many other cultures such as the Native Hawaiians (before Hawaii was invaded by the U.S. and others) don't have as many modesty taboos or any at all. Assuming they procreate like us in similar ways, maybe they see such processes as something normal and nothing to cover up, hide, and be ashamed of. Maybe they wear armor only for protection and nothing else.

I looked at the images you're talking about. Honestly, it's about as phallic as a baseball.

But really, it's more like a rorschach test. You see whatever your mind tells you to see.

Just click it to enlarge and have a look at doublecros's crouch, what do you see?
Yes I have placed that there just to let it look more interesting, and if you have a look at al other Tfs ever you will see that they have croches with stuff added to them too look intersting.

And I don't see why anybody would complain about adding detail to it. I mean I haven't meet anybody jet who wen't: "OMFG! a license plate!"

It's just interesting detail.

and I saw a pic of movie OP,

I really hope that that is just a trick of the eyes. Otherwise a robo-erection is disturbing on just too many levels :shock:

Plus it gives fangirls too much material, and NOBODY wants that.

I remember being a very young child and thinking that if the Transformers were always walking around naked they must be so embarrassed. What are they supposed to do, wear pants?
