They've been very tight-lipped about it. More tight lipped about it than Jurassic Park IV has been, and that's what is strange about it. I'm surprised we got the basic plot revealed from the casting call though.

No one knows yet. Some people are hoping Carnotaurus, others are thinking Troodon from the game they had. It's still unknown. I hope to hell they don't do the Human/Dinosaur hybrids.

The one thing I want to know is what they're going to do about the Decepticons for the fourth film. There's no one left to lead them unless Prime is somehow tricked into using the Matrix of Leadership to revive the entire Decepticon power structure. Makes me almost wish they would have stuck with the original ending for DOTM.

yea i was thinkin the carnotaurus also. i don't think the hybrid idea would be so bad though if they scratched the reptiod sapien idea n just cross breeded dinosaurs. a lot of the dinosaur hybrids from the chaos theory toy line looked pretty awesome.

i've been wondering the same thing about the cons. for me, galvatron seems to be the obvious choice, given how big an influence megatron has been on the series (excluding how he was sentinel's bitch in the last one). that's why i think that new freight liner is an autobot, cuz there has been literally 0 talk of the villains in this movie.

what was the original dotm ending?

The Chaos Effect line would be more preferred in the terms of a sequel, there was supposed to be a cartoon of it, but something happened and it got dropped. It's why the toys for it had the cartoony look they had.

Megatron was believed to be sincere in his prospect of peace to Optimus. Optimus then granted him amnesty and Megatron left with the remaining Decepticons. I think the ending appeared in the novelization and the comic. Paramount or someone else that was in charge wanted the ending to be different for the film so they changed it to what we got.

i just hope they go back to the thriller roots of the first one n not this hollywood adventure crap they were moving into.

n damn, would've been a decent ending indeed.

yeah I would have love to see Optimus and Megatron make peace..

but then again, megatron would've had to die in order for galvatron to be birthed. but they could've begun the forth movie with his death too so yeah, that definitely would've been a good ending as well. but optimus did say they would kill em all. which was badass.

I suppose they could revive him. His spark core wasn't destroyed, it just would require a lot of repairs. Sadly there's no indication he has Waspinator's ability to survive after being scrapped.

What's funny is as much as some want another director, i'll find it very amusing if when that time does eventually come TF turn out even worse than they view the current TF movies. New directors do not mean that the Franchise will turn out to be better.

I'm not saying the franchise will be better -- I'm just saying we may get a better movie(s) overall. Story is not Bay's strongsuit. Blowing things up/making things pretty is.
