See "Viral" works for the studio, and hates Generation one transformers!!!
Swat Kats!! that series was cancelled a long time ago!! Get over it!! move on!!... "how does it feel, to have the same crap thrown back in your face??"
Stinks doesn't it??
Viral wrote:The show's animation will look fantastic. Teen Titans, is a superbly animated show to begin with, which means all these claims of "animation will suck" are ludicrous. Seriously, stop making unfounded remarks. It's getting pretty ridiculous, as of now.
Are you daft or something?? Teen Titans was completely cutsie Anime.. and had Giant Eyes/mouths and those weird Tear marks near the head when someone was confused.. Nobody here in America knows what the hell thats all about...Can you really see a transformer with big buldging eyes, and tear drops around his head.. its gonna suck!!!
I'll give you that Teen Titans had some fluid animation... but again, trying to make your intelligence more than it is, you failed to see that the complaints are not about the actual animation itself, but rather the ART STYLE and format that is being used!!!!
Do you really think that Teen Titans would be a good format to place Giant robots?? Super hero Genre is for Super Heroes.. The Transformers are supposed ot be on a level all their own!!! Its like taking the Transformers and making them into SD (Super Deformed) Gundam!! You saw how long that cartoon lasted here in "America"..
The Japanese have gundam, We have Transformers...we share, but we need to be looking seriously at Transformers as Gundam does.. the live action movie will do that, but I still think an Anime Like Gundam or CGI like Beast Wars, for a Generation One Direct to DVD series would be awesome!! Not a continuiation of the original series, rather an updated version of all the G-1 bots in CGI or superior animation..
And while I'm at it, your not the end all be all Guru of Animation, so lay off telling everyone else what to do or Think..!! This is America as you so prominently pointed out in your earlier posts, and if you really understand that, then you must understand that this cartoon, though aimed at childern, offends many a Transfan..regardless of how much you would like to see it succeed!!
I make more sense then you do, and I wager most people here don't like your idiotic comments that much..Viral wrote:Here, have an AMV of the Teen Titans.
I'd rather watch Beast Wars on Youtube:

It's not a question of faith. Shows in that art style have been highly successful in the past and still are now. Look at Ben 10 and the oft-mentioned Teen Titans. There's no question that the art style is a popular and successful one. I agree there's a question as to whether or not TF can translate well in that style. But that's not a question kids will ask. They'll just see something that looks like other shows they already like. As for the story, it comes down to your opinion of Beast Machines and how much credit/blame for that you assign Mr. Isenburg.
For the toys -- seriously -- why would Hasbro stop original production at a time when mainstream interest is about to hit a new high? Prime is very similar to his Cybertron/GF counterpart, and I could see an Arcee redeco for Prowl maybe, but none of the rest of the bot modes have look-alikes that close. Besides, even if they redecoed Prime's cab/body, they'd at least have to pack it with a new "trailer" part or kids are gonna wonder why the cartoon version only has the one ladder/gun/whatever.

skywarp-2 wrote:I didn't me just redeco, i meant remold as well.. it wouldn't be hard, just dumb down the detail and make the back cab similar to the new cartoon images..the proportions would also be easy to mimic..
out of all the people I couldnt agree more with in this thread, i never thought it would be you skywarpskywarp-2 wrote:Viral wrote:skywarp-2 wrote:Viral wrote:Studio Mook (a japanese based animation company, which will be doing the bulk of the animation for the new Transformers 'toon), and Cartoon Network studio's have been working together for many, many years. its called English...
well he isn't a bad voice actor, I'm positive we won't get the voice he did for spongebob for starscream, so as far as his voice acting goes, I don't think we have a problem in that regard. Although in my opinion, Frank Welker would probably do the best at replicating latta's voice, maybe not exactly on the mark, but definetly has the range to do something similar.Godzilla wrote:I don't think that the guy that did Sponge Bob is the right guy for Starscream.
Kranix-76 wrote:Bulkhead, on the other hand...oy. I really hope he's not in proper proportion there...I can live with his appearance as a seeming "loveable lummox" kind of character, but I sincerely hope that he doesn't stay, y'know, five times the size of his compatriots. But at least Prime (who would, given his general personality, likely choose to be a damned fire truck to help save lives) and the rest look this side of groovy.
Godzilla wrote:Well at any rate this really ain't gonna be a Transformers show! Like I said this is set-up to be a faliure, and to everybody thats sayin that "we should wait for it to come out before we judge" well the idea of making the Transformers superheros is just stupid. Its not even the Transformers, its "SUPER MONKEY HYPERFORCE GO!" type of crap(Oh and whats this I hear, the Decpticons r gonna take a back seat to the human villans?). I rather watch the all the series after BW and before this one, at least they all stayed true to what makes the Transformers.....well the Transformers. Armada may have had bad dialogue but at least it felt like the Transformers.
And to all of you that say that CN is becoming softer by the years (I'm included) you all (me included) r proven right(Oh and whats this I hear? they won't have weapons?)! I mean I know somebody said this already but look at all the good shows they threw away!
Justice League
Samari Jack
Duck Dogers
Just to name a few!
I wonder if cartoons r gonna become exstint?
