See "Viral" works for the studio, and hates Generation one transformers!!!

Are you daft or something?? Teen Titans was completely cutsie Anime.. and had Giant Eyes/mouths and those weird Tear marks near the head when someone was confused.. Nobody here in America knows what the hell thats all about...Can you really see a transformer with big buldging eyes, and tear drops around his head.. its gonna suck!!!

I'll give you that Teen Titans had some fluid animation... but again, trying to make your intelligence more than it is, you failed to see that the complaints are not about the actual animation itself, but rather the ART STYLE and format that is being used!!!!

Do you really think that Teen Titans would be a good format to place Giant robots?? Super hero Genre is for Super Heroes.. The Transformers are supposed ot be on a level all their own!!! Its like taking the Transformers and making them into SD (Super Deformed) Gundam!! You saw how long that cartoon lasted here in "America"..

The Japanese have gundam, We have Transformers...we share, but we need to be looking seriously at Transformers as Gundam does.. the live action movie will do that, but I still think an Anime Like Gundam or CGI like Beast Wars, for a Generation One Direct to DVD series would be awesome!! Not a continuiation of the original series, rather an updated version of all the G-1 bots in CGI or superior animation..

And while I'm at it, your not the end all be all Guru of Animation, so lay off telling everyone else what to do or Think..!! This is America as you so prominently pointed out in your earlier posts, and if you really understand that, then you must understand that this cartoon, though aimed at childern, offends many a Transfan..regardless of how much you would like to see it succeed!!

I make more sense then you do, and I wager most people here don't like your idiotic comments that much..

It's not a question of faith. Shows in that art style have been highly successful in the past and still are now. Look at Ben 10 and the oft-mentioned Teen Titans. There's no question that the art style is a popular and successful one. I agree there's a question as to whether or not TF can translate well in that style. But that's not a question kids will ask. They'll just see something that looks like other shows they already like. As for the story, it comes down to your opinion of Beast Machines and how much credit/blame for that you assign Mr. Isenburg.

For the toys -- seriously -- why would Hasbro stop original production at a time when mainstream interest is about to hit a new high? Prime is very similar to his Cybertron/GF counterpart, and I could see an Arcee redeco for Prowl maybe, but none of the rest of the bot modes have look-alikes that close. Besides, even if they redecoed Prime's cab/body, they'd at least have to pack it with a new "trailer" part or kids are gonna wonder why the cartoon version only has the one ladder/gun/whatever.

I didn't mean just redeco, i meant remold as well.. it wouldn't be hard, just dumb down the detail and make the back cab similar to the new cartoon images..the proportions would also be easy to mimic..

I must admit as well that when I saw that prime, I thought cybertron prime that someones mom made from a character jell-o mold. Or maybe like that piece of flan dessert I got at that cuban deli one time.
And bulkhead looks just like crumplezone. This show sucks.SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS.

Ostracize me for liking G1. Yes I live in the past. Make somthing better in the future if you want me to live there.
Kids will like anything, I'm sure if you sat any kid down in front of a G1 episode they would like it just as much as we did as children.

How DARE you compare this HORRID trash to Samurai Jack or Clone Wars! This is drawn horrible, while Clone Wars, and ESPECIALLY Samurai Jack are drawn very well.

All I have to say is that this seems like it is the Wind Waker for Transformers. (Zelda fans, you know what I mean)

Bumblebee looks fantastic. You know, this could actually grow on me, and if I was a good it'd be the bee's knees.

With proper characterization and some good storylines this could be a much better animated series than the standard Japanese schlock.

Of all the TFan terms, remold is the one I'm having trouble getting clearly in mind. Repaint I get, redeco I get okay, but remold is a bit fuzzy. You mean you can see them taking the main portion of Cybertron/GF Prime and making a new head and backpack? I doubt that on the grounds that it would be bad marketing, but yeah, I could see it designwise. Anything more than the head and backpack, though, and it'd seem to me that you hit a point of diminishing return where it'd be less trouble to go ahead and cut a new mold.

well he isn't a bad voice actor, I'm positive we won't get the voice he did for spongebob for starscream, so as far as his voice acting goes, I don't think we have a problem in that regard. Although in my opinion, Frank Welker would probably do the best at replicating latta's voice, maybe not exactly on the mark, but definetly has the range to do something similar.

Well at any rate this really ain't gonna be a Transformers show! Like I said this is set-up to be a faliure, and to everybody thats sayin that "we should wait for it to come out before we judge" well the idea of making the Transformers superheros is just stupid. Its not even the Transformers, its "SUPER MONKEY HYPERFORCE GO!" type of crap(Oh and whats this I hear, the Decpticons r gonna take a back seat to the human villans?). I rather watch the all the series after BW and before this one, at least they all stayed true to what makes the Transformers.....well the Transformers. Armada may have had bad dialogue but at least it felt like the Transformers.

And to all of you that say that CN is becoming softer by the years (I'm included) you all (me included) r proven right(Oh and whats this I hear? they won't have weapons?)! I mean I know somebody said this already but look at all the good shows they threw away!

I haven't read most of the thread, since the last one showed just how much redundant complaining could happen in the span of 30 pages, so I'll just jump right in:

This is most assuredly a better depiction of Prime than the last promo image led some to believe, and Ratchet and Bumblebee (they're finally back!) seem to have adopted to the new style quite nicely. Prowl I'm a little unsure about, if only because I'm so used to that name being applied to the "law-and-order" character (and, let's face it, the new design makes him look like a freggin' ninja)--it's a cool design, but I guess it'd sit better if it was either decorated a bit more like a police vehicle or if a different name was chosen.

Bulkhead, on the other hand...oy. I really hope he's not in proper proportion there...I can live with his appearance as a seeming "loveable lummox" kind of character, but I sincerely hope that he doesn't stay, y'know, five times the size of his compatriots. But at least Prime (who would, given his general personality, likely choose to be a damned fire truck to help save lives) and the rest look this side of groovy.

That being said, I will now leave you all to the forecasts of emminent doom that this cartoon will no doubt bring to all of humanity.

It's worth noting that Prime is depicted in "cab" form here. As with every series since RiD, he'll very likely have an attack mode that involves combining with his "trailer", which would make him about three times the size. Hopefully Bulkhead will be scaled so that he's no larger than Prime's supersized mode.

Sorry, I wanted to let this pass by, but it's too inane. RiD and Armada both started out in "SUPER MONKEY HYPERFORCE GO!" mode. Armada at least got better. I can't comment on RiD, but clearly it had its fans.

All the shows you mentioned ran two-to-four seasons, which is perfectly respectable for an animated show. Whine about Inhumanoids or Visionaries if you're going to whine about shows that got squashed before their time.

Cartoons are not endangered. You and you and you over there, and maybe me, just may not be their primary demographic nowadays. It'd be a bit sad if we were, wouldn't it?
