Yes! I love this thing! It's so simple yet good in all modes.
Tank mode's a bit okay but presentable. Good articulation and very nice robot mode.

I love the first version so much I bought 4 to make a small Megatron Army.
The Beeftank was their leader first, but this will be their new leader.
Or I'll just start a voyager sized simple transformation great looking Megatron army.

Hasbro needs to do this more, just upsize some great scouts and legion/legend/cyberverse
figures.

There's a tiny cyberverse Optimus Prime out there with the perfect transformation.
Voyager size it up and give it knees Hasbro pls.

No, nah, never, and only on one case, which isn't the case,but.... This figure is only good for one thing and that's being a bigger figure for a lower price. Door a figure thats that size he is more than likely more detail, transformation whise, so I wouldn't mind the $30 Voyager class figure price. It being and less means it's gonna be of a less quality.. and totally that's this figure.
It will not be on my shelf nor am I'm spend my hard earned money on this figure... No, nah, never, nope....

that is fair, because you are obviously not the target market of this figure. These are marketed for dollar store, for younger kids in particular, not for collector. It just so happens that there are collectors that attracted to these as well. Nobody's forcing you to buy them to begin with.

Didn't really care for Megatron that much when we first saw him, just wasn't crazy about the shoulders, but it's growing on me. Maybe I'll check Big Lots this weekend.

you are correct about the shoulder. The range of movement is limited due to parts clashing against parts.

They're for smaller "variety" stores so you'll want to check places like Walgreens, Big Lots, Family Dollar, and Dollar General. I've seen them at BL for sure.

Oh boy! A scavenger hunt. Thankfully I know of a couple near me that would be good places to check. I am gonna go hunting this weekend then for sure once the temperatures are no longer like the ice planet Hoth from Empire Strikes Back outside here. Thanks for letting me know!

They usually tweak the upsized versions from the original mold. Bee and Prime got elbow joints, they weren't useful but they are there.

Dang, totally slipped my mind that I was going to do this. I was right next door as it sits right between the grocery store and Dollar Tree, both of which I went to Friday. :roll:

one note that are not mentioned on the instruction (surprisingly), is that the feet can actually slide out, and moves out of the way further, which gives the shoulder more room to maneuver, and makes the transformation less fiddly.

Following the surprise release of Bravo Class Megatron in the Transformers Authentics line, ChuckDawg1999 brings us a video review of his wave mate and another surprise release in the form of Grimlock! This Grimlock is down scaled from its Alpha Class release so is more pocket money friendly then you would normally find for similar sized releases in the other Transformers lines.

Is it bad that I keep forgetting these guys even are a thing? These guys could be so much better but they just come across as cheap. I don't own any of these toys so I can't speak on terms of their quality but they're just so hollow. I guess it makes sense since they're only a few bucks.

Also the figure looks okay, but it certainly doesn't make me say want to say "Bravo!", more like "Cool, ...I guess?"

The small ones are 6 while the large ones are 10-12 at family dollar

the plastic are surprisingly solid and sturdy, should be able to withstand children's rough play, and all the joints are tight and nice. But yeah, when you get a deluxe sized figure for $5 and voyager sized one for $10, i don't think we can really expect too much at that price points.
