We still need a Blackarachnia and Leatherhide, except have no proper mold for the latter, in either form.
Which is most likely why they are giving us this 2-pack rather than that 2-pack.Rtron wrote:Jelze Bunnycat wrote:Sabrblade wrote:You know, with the Buzzworthy Parasite/Skywasp figure, combined with Legacy Nightprowler, Hasbro proper is finally giving us the unreleased Universe "Halloween Horrorcon" Waspinator/Nightprowler 2-pack, albeit in updated mold form and released separately from each other, but still!

I'm pretty sure we'll never see a Generations figure of a Beast Wars Mutant. I think it's more likely we'll get, I don't know, Masterpiece Botbots before that happens.

A shame, though. BW Soundwave was the only Mutant who suffered from GPS. A new one could have fixed that.
Of course, they could get around that by giving us the TR Mindwipe w/ Titan Master Nightbeat retoot we saw in the Convobat/Magna Convoy/Selects manga, and pair that with a Kingdom Blackarachnia redeco.

I too am hoping for Hardhead/Thrustor retools!
Sentinel_Primal wrote:I think the solution to the mutants is make them triple-changers. They already had robot mode bits so why not just give them a robot mode in addition to the beast modes?

Thank you for sharing this pic, I really don't mind making a mess in my pants, really.
As big and fearsome as the Emperor Scorpion looks, it's venom isn't deadly to humans. That's one of the only reasons why these are sold in pet stores. Their poison is more honeybee level. Granted, it would hurt like blazes, so better to NOT get stung. But they're not like the fat-tail scorpions (smaller claws, thicker tails), which CAN be lethal.
The deco on it appears to actually be lifted wholesale from a generic from the Netflix WFC shows, but there's nothing stopping anyone from repurposing it as the Grand Max Cog.Gearslide wrote:So is Red Cog meant to be the Cog that pairs with Grand Max?
He's a weapons accessory pack like Deluxe Centurion Drone and Tricranius.Grahf_ wrote:I hope they don't bump Red Cog up a price class for those extra weapons.

Damn.
Grahf_ wrote:I hope they don't bump Red Cog up a price class for those extra weapons. I like three of each Weaponizer style or troopbuilder figure normally but in this case, I think I want more due to the extra weapons. Being priced as a voyager wouldn't be ideal.
It looks like the five blasters are:
1: One standard Cog gun.
2: One standard Cog gun? A second one wasn't shown in the pictures but can be presumed.
3: One Ultra Magnus looking gun.
4: One Chromia looking gun.
5: One Cyberverse Arcee looking gun.
The seven interchangeable barrels/components are:
1. One Chromia looking silencer.
2. One Ultra Magnus looking barrel extension as seen with some 3D printed upgrade sets.
3. One half of a bomb?
4. One half of a bomb? Looks kind of like the Omnitrix when combined.
5. One CW Streetwise/Prowl looking triple barrel shotgun extension.
6. One TMNT Mutagen canister looking extension.
7. One kind of Brunt looking cannon barrel with extra pieces attached to it. This has a 5mm peg on the underside. Maybe it's the fifth blaster instead of the second standard Cog gun. But then what would the last barrel/component be?
They look like the original guns from the other figures but are different. Chromia's blaster doesn't have a 5mm port in front for instance. It normally has a 3mm post instead. Chromia's silencer has the small tab under it whereas this new one doesn't. Also, the Ultra Magnus blaster seems to be quite a bit smaller.
It would've been more interesting to me if those extra pieces where somehow designed to help facilitate combined forms between the Weaponizers/Modulators/Fossilizers. Sometimes all you need is a double ended 5mm port or peg piece or a port to peg to get everything to connect together better. If anything it would be nice if the Powerdashers could have something designed to get them an actual combined mode. Some of those pieces just don't like to play well with the others when combining them. I think it's Zetar's fault for having been made from a Decepticon mold. Maybe in a three pack reissue as some of them are difficult to get a hold of now.
Yep.chuckdawg1999 wrote:There's one gun that's meant to be used as a connector for Earthrise Arcee to wear a Cog weapon pack.

This is the same Hasbro that gave us "Red Swoop".Emerje wrote:They really couldn't have come up with a better name than "Red Cog"?

That's a really strange thing to do, I guess someone forgot to take a picture of that and thought nobody would notice. They're clearly the exact same image copy and pasted on both sides and larger than they should be, the vehicle pic has them pegged in properly.
They really couldn't have come up with a better name than "Red Cog"? Feels lazy. I like the included weapons, though I don't know exactly what I'm going to do with all of them (Will pointed out what to do with one of them). At least he has a new head.
