That it is. Although you could argue they gave Grimlock Dinobot's toy-accurate head and his head was a premold for this dinobot

Yes, Grimlock used the toy head while Dinobot originally used the animation head. And now Dinobot gets to have his toy head

I am curious to see Goldbug however to complete this set. Probably just the SG version with the same paint used on Selects Black Zarak ( a not-true gold), but at least dosen't have GPS.

I don't think you're wrong about Goldbug. Anyone expecting the Netflix mold should get ready for disappointment.

Thanks to the site Stories from the Toyshelf, we have our first look at the upcoming ransack figure. It is a slight retool of the Legacy Kickback mold in the colours of the original G1 ransack toy, which you can see below for comparison. Ransack is said to come in a Target exclusive Buzzworthy Bumblebee four pack which also includes Goldbug, Toy Color Scorponok. You have to give it to those Buzzworthy four packs, while totally random, they still find a way to have a Bumblebee connection, this time with Goldbug. Speaking of Goldbug, he is now the last one to be seen.

You'll let us know what you think of Ransack.

Oh yes, this is the news I have been WAITING for. I really hope they do all the "Deluxe Insecticons". I'd love to have all of 'em with the normal Insecticons.

Nice, a bit lazy that they didnt give him his own mold but should look great as a deluxe inecticon next to the legends class ones. Def skipping Legacy Kickback.

Shame scorponok in the set isnt g1 toy colors.

I'll throw them a bone with the fact that they gave the original mold an abdomen functionality, showing that it was designed from the start to be for this character too

I never thought Goldbug was VW Beetle, to begin with, guess I was wrong. I find it funny that the Legacy version of Ransack, a Bandai toy, is being made from a retool of a figure that was initially a Takara toy.

Wow so much Legacy Kickback hatred around here. They went and gave us a literal spot on updated G1 version that many called for (transformation is IDENTICAL to the original and the cartoon with full articulation). Is it the size? go back and look at both the cartoon and Marvel comic and see how big they actually were. There is seriously no pleasing some of you at all is there? Maybe one day Hasbro will say F-you to the older collector base and focus on just the little kiddie versions of the toys, then the haters will be going waa waa I want my accurate transformers back. Just be freaking glad they are even making an attempt to make toys that are as close to their G1 counterparts as possible.

I don't get it either, but they say his 'transformation is uninspired' - it's the same transformation as back in the day, but with articulation. There's no accounting for taste.
