Buzzworthy will be my terrosaur. I dont care if it looks ugly ss crap, its affordable!

With the Creatures Collide set, did anyone have issues with Scorponok? A friend of mine found the set, which we went half in on and i got Scorponok and Skywasp. I was anxious to get this version of Scorponok for my BW diorama.

The issues i had, right off the bat, the stinger tip was very loose and even would come off. The rear legs came off easy during transformation. Something i didnt have an issue with the original version. The last issue was the lower half of the right claw kept coming off.

While i wont transform him again, all in all i like the colors of this version, and it looks great in my diorama. So aside from the issues i had, i am still good with him. I know things happen with repaints and or reuse of a mold i just thought i would share what happened with my copy.

My copy of toy colors Skorponok from the Creatures Collide set has many of the same issues as you've described. Unfortunately, I think it might be an issue with subtle changes in plastic tolerances with the colors of plastics used.

I didn't have those issues. I've posted it, opened both claws and pulled out the missiles/bee, moved the stinger, everything short of actually transforming it. Only issue I had was the standard head had come off and was floating around in the shipping box. It comes off pretty easily, it just slides off and on with little effort, something to be careful of when buying one in stores.

Strangely, the Kingdom version of Scorponok gave me issues with his claw pieces popping off, to the point I tried widening the hinge hole with a screwdreiver, but this version of Scorponok isn't giving me any trouble.

I do wish the 4 pack gave us another Deception Headmaster like the last one did with Fangry. Skywasp is nice enough looking, but still feels like a spot filler.

He goes with Nightprowler, giving us the unreleased 2-pack from the 2000s in modern updated form.

You'd think it would be just as easy to make a "good enough" Squeezeplay out of Repugnus the same way they turned Grotusque into Fangry. Horri-Bull would either have to be a new mold or a heavy Weirdwolf retool. Definitely not impossible to do. Really does make me wonder if they just had Fangry ready to go but nowhere to put him.

I don't think it would even have to be a heavy retool from Weirdwolf to Horri-Bull. They could probably just change the animal head. He's more Terror Dog than bull anyway.

Though one hopes they would fix the faulty back hinge.

That was 100% the case, we've had insider info of fangry for a while before this pack was ever announced.

Went to 3 different Targets yesterday, they all were fully stocked (had 6-8 each) of the creatures 4-pack, toy deco Dinobot & toy deco Terrosaur. I could be wrong, but it seems like they are overcompensating for shortages of previous Buzzworthy items. These are definitely not hard to find, at least in my area, and will likely end up going on clearance. It seems finding that sweet spot for the minimum order quantity is a bit more challenging that previously thought.

I personally had no issues finding last years 4 pack with Wolfang, but I know several people never saw it. If it were up to me, I'd have increased the order a bit more conservatively, probably ordered 10-15% more than the previous set to meet demand. It appears (although I could be mistaken) they ordered double as opposed to last years set...

I would rather have too much than not enough. And I know if they have to clearance items it's less likely they will over order next time around.

I too preffer more than not enough.

As for the notion of "ordering", there is no ordering for exclusives. Target agrees to carry them and Hasbro gives them the entire US stock (aside from a small portion for Pulse). Of course, through feedback and analysis, Hasbro can see how well a particular product sold (which is much easier to do when you only have 1 retailer), so that helped them see how much they would have to make for the following year.

To reply to other stuff mentionned, as said before it makes perfect sense that the Buzzworthy line is better stocked than others, that you see more of a character from that line than any other, since while the line is exclusive it is not limited. So Target is getting as many voyager Buzzworthy Dinobots as the US got of Kingdom Dinobot. It's like you are seeing what in a mainline would have also gone to Walmart, Amazon, BBTS ect all at once on a shelf. That's pretty cool in a sense.

Pulse just put up in-stock orders for BB Dinobot, Terrorsaur, and the Goldbug 4-pack, in case that's helpful for anyone.

I should've been more specific. When I typed "they" I meant Hasbro, not Target.

The Target exclusives seem to plentiful enough on Hasbro Pulse. They’re still available to preorder, even hours later. It’s nice that anyone who wants those figures has a fair shot at them online or in store. Walmart, on the other hand, has so few figures were available online that Pulse and Walmart.com sold out of multiple characters within minutes, and most stores still haven’t gotten their shipments after two weeks. It’s very hard to believe it’s just “supply chain issues” when Target is so thoroughly out-performing Walmart.

While I am not really a fan of the insect mode or transformation, Ransack does cut a nice robot mode

This we know, but warehouses don't empty their entire stock all at once. We know this because we've seen exclusives trickle in. My Target got at least three shipments of Origin Bee, only the last one was in abundance, and two of T-Wrecks (he had sold out on the endcap and weeks later showed up in the aisle). In this case "ordering more" would mean from the warehouse, not Hasbro. When the stores don't want any more and the warehouse still has supply left that's when we start finding exclusives at T.J.Maxx and the like.

Got BBB Bluestreak, and gotta say, it's not a bad mold. I'm enjoying it. compared to the other Car Autobots, I think its in the top 2 or 3 molds.

I stopped by Target after work tonight, looking for Tarantulas or Blitzwing, but found neither. I also noticed that the endcap with the Creatures Collide 4-pack and naked Dinobot was also gone, but I couldn't find them anywhere else. I was there 2 or 3 days ago and there were 8 or 9 4-packs on the shelf. Could they have started clearancing them already? If so, I might get one just for Goldbug, I could still sell the others.

I doubt it. Those 4-packs had been on the shelf for about 3 weeks by then, scalpers would have gotten to them sooner.

Doubtful, scalpers don't buy toys that are just sitting there after fans had their pick.
