IDW G1 references:
- His real name is "Ironfist" while "Fisitron" is his infosphere alias.
- He was recruited to join the Wreckers
- Ultra Magnus is a lawman
- Ultra Magnus has a connection to the Wreckers (also a reference to Marvel G1 and, well, this is Aligned Ultra Magnus here anyway)
- He started out as a factory worker.
- The Combination Spark (Japanese name of the Spark of Combination)
There's probably more in there to be found, as well.

He's right: he's a straight repaint of FoC Roadbuster, a retool of FoC Swindle:

Only Chromedome, Rewind and Thrustinator got new heads.

It's new to me. I don't have any of the FOC Wreckers.

What Mooncake said. This is not Chromedome from the 1980s cartoons or the 1980s comics. This is Chromedome from the IDW G1 comics*, whose visor is yellow instead of blue. All previous looks at this figure depicted it with a blue visor, which detracted from the accuracy to its source material.durroth wrote:Sabrblade: Can you at least EXPLAIN the yellow visor for me?
* -- Well, okay, technically not 100% exactly the IDW G1 version of Chromedome, what with his different body and all. So what the Club has done is created a separate universe that is heavily based on the IDW G1 comics continuity, and placed this Chromedome in that world, in which he is essentially the same person as IDW G1 Chromedome but exists as an alternate universe version of him with a different body and Stylor as his partner (Stylor isn't in the actual IDW G1 comics since IDW G1 Chromedome isn't a Headmaster).
But, it's just easier to say that he's based off the IDW G1 version of the character than it is to get into the specific universal details mentioned above.
