That too, but personally I'd prefer that spot to go to the 5.0 7th figure.

Wonder whom the combiner head would be though? Tidalwave's is kinda shaped like Bruticus... Demolisher combine to form Tidalwave

Yeah, I'd go for that, the giant squat design even kinda fits for it... they could even remold the chest armor to look like his chest design from armada

Signs are currently pointing to Combiner heads not being switched out along with the regular head. Optimus Maximus hasn't got a new one despite the "Star Convoy" alternate head, Betatron has the original Superion head Silverbolt had, and the "Armada Demolishor" prototype still has the Bruticus noggin. So unless Toxitron gets a newly tooled Combiner head, expect a Menasor wanna-be like these guys:

Re: TCC AND TFSS 5.0 THREAD
Tacking onto the "using extras for legs/whatever," my original plan was to make up some of the odd numbers with Impactor and the bonus figure. But now it sure seems like 4 and 5 subs will give us two complete combiners.
So assuming one has picked up every retail CW limb (and enough torsos), doesn't get shut out of deluxe Groove, and grabbed Quickslinger and Brake-Neck, leaves a person with three extra limbs. Ostensibly Alpha Bravo, Off-Road, and Rook, although in my personal set-up Rook will remain a Protectobot as I have First-Aid and Off-Road as limbs for Cylonus (along with the other two trucks).
So I have Battle Core Prime with Sunstreaker, Prowl, and Alpha Bravo.
Am I missing anything in particular? With no news on a NA release of shuttle Blast-Off, the singular extra limb NOT counting Takara stuff (which are all box set teams anyway) would be Botcon Terrorsaur, who is more or less unattainable for me right now. Unless BOTH of the mystery figures end up being CW deluxes which is certainly not guaranteed.

Well, yes and no about Terrorsaur's HFG. Most combiners he'd be a part of would be as a replacement for an existing limb. So Terrorsaur would just borrow, say, Tarantulas' HFG if he were to become part of Predacus.
Or maybe Roller's or Starscream's HFG if he joined Grand Galvatron.

Unless one already has all the HFGs that they own already attached to other combiners, with no spares left over for Terrorsaur to borrow. That was my point.TF_JW wrote:Well, yes and no about Terrorsaur's HFG. Most combiners he'd be a part of would be as a replacement for an existing limb. Random Question: can you tell us when the 5.0 subscription service is going to open up for ordering? I assume the Club pushed it back so that we'd at least have figure 1 of 4.0 in hand before hitting us up for more money?

That's it. Again unlikely to obtain but in theory there is a complete extra set of limbs after completing the combiners "proper."
An extra hfg for terrorsaur is easy enough to obtain in black. Just not red. Heh.

And there are enough figures with pegs on tjeir weapons' butt stock that they can go for a gun hand and give their HFG To Terry

Re: TCC AND TFSS 5.0 THREAD
Yeah, it'd be kinda annoying to have 20 CW limbs and only 19 HFGs. Makes me wonder about Fractyl; it seems like he's intended to be part of the Wreckers Combiner so he's probably got a HFG, but it's weird that FunPun's releasing two decos of the same figure in short succession, but with only one missing an accessory. Huh.
I don't think any of the Combiner Wars weapons have been a sufficient replacement for a hand, but Takara's Nosecone looks like he'll be able to rock a mean drill hand in limb mode, which wold leave his HFG surplus.

Takara's Nosecone was exactly who I was thinking of.
It is odd that Terry didnt get all his parts (not unprecedented) but the may have figured on since he was never intended to ve a combiner and the boxset combiner Predacus already had 4 HFGs they didnt need to pack anymore since there was only 1 torso anyway

Unless it isn't a CW Deluxe mold. As the 4.0 mystery figure is said to be a CW Deluxe, the 5.0 figure needn't have be one as well.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:This bonus 7th deluxe figure features a head sculpt not yet released at U.S. retail

It's not on the web page yet. Just in the e-mails.
EDIT: I had the link here, trying to be helpful, but a post elsewhere suggests that, if you use that, you might find yourself trying to buy a shipment to be mailed to MY address. So I took it down to be safe. Sorry.
