Character wise, I think they did fantastic with Dead End, Clobber, Whirl, Perceptor, Hot Rod, and Soundwave. That entire resistance was done very well. Slipstream and Cheetor were also excellent characters and deserve mention
Haha, oh I know I could count you in, I wanted to extend it to others like Sabrblade as well. If you could only pick 2 to write about, which would it be? I am assuming Dead End. And Soundwave is one we agree on as well (along with Hot Rod, though I want to write about him myself).

i think it would come down to Dead End and Clobber.
Slipstream still deserves recognition
I'm honored, but I dunno if I could find the time (the pandemic had made my life only busier and busier since my job is one of those "necessity" ones that requires us to stay open instead of making us work from home).william-james88 wrote:Sabr, would you like to write the entry for one of those characters?

Rescue Bots had a 26-episode fourth season, 104 episodes total.Rodimus Knight wrote:The transformers curse, no series to go beyond three seasons, no matter how good the story is.
(and I don't count the 3 headmaster episodes as a season 4 for G1)

That's the sequel show that came after season 4 ended, set several years later and with a different cast, currently airing its own second season.Rodimus Knight wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Rescue Bots had a 26-episode fourth season, 104 episodes total.Rodimus Knight wrote:The transformers curse, no series to go beyond three seasons, no matter how good the story is.

Didn't they change the name of it for the fourth season though? Rescue Bots Academy or something, or is that a different show?

IMDB is not a credible source. RID 2015 had only three seasons, with the last six episodes of Season 2 being a bonus "Season 2.5" mini-series produced after the first main 13 episodes were completed and which served as an extension of Season 2.megamanfan wrote:Rodimus Knight wrote:The transformers curse, no series to go beyond three seasons, no matter how good the story is.

what about the 2015 RID series? imdb says it went for 4.

Yeah, sadly, not all kid shows can be Power Rangers (27 seasons and counting, wahoo!).chuckdawg1999 wrote:Rodimus Knight wrote:The transformers curse, no series to go beyond three seasons, no matter how good the story is.

Most kid shows don't go past 3 seasons, it's what the networks want and is just the "Style." I'd like to see shows go further but it is what it is.

Well, good. Season 5 was Turbo and nearly killed that series. In Space had revitalize it as dramatically as it did, and which was mostly kept consistent for years until Samurai dumbed it back down. Thank heavens for Beast Morphers making it good again.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Yeah, sadly, not all kid shows can be Power Rangers (27 seasons and counting, wahoo!).chuckdawg1999 wrote:Rodimus Knight wrote:The transformers curse, no series to go beyond three seasons, no matter how good the story is.

I'd also argue it hasn't been the same show since season 5.
