You may not want to hear this, but the spring-loaded armor is only on the bigger Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, with the rest simply being attached (look at the fins on the shoulders). According to the box, the lights on the figures and sounds on the bigger Prime 'Bee are voice-activated, but the armors are not.
