My thoughts exactly...you can even see something strapped over his shoulders, like it's holding him down...

The government in its real form is not known for communitcating thoroughly with each other so i could see that parlay into the movies.

I had an instant image in my head of the moon transforming. But then saw the size of it and thought it would be too small. My big thing was though, did anyone see the big head in the sand.........

Whenever I see posts like this it makes me think of this:
"For reasons unknown, a substantial number of human Transformers fans appear to have a very drastic, dismissive position when it comes to the inclusion of representatives of their species in Transformers fiction, some even going as far as demanding that Transformers fiction should be devoid of any flesh creatures whatsoever, unless being depicted as helpless victims/casualties of Decepticon attack"
- TF Wiki
Seriously though, I enjoyed the teaser, although it did leave a lot to be desired. I hope to see something new around the Super Bowl, just to peak my excitement.
I have to say, I'm not a fan of the humans either. I watch TF because they're not human. Everything is saturated by humans (obviously cause well, we are human). But I mean in a pop culture kind of way (xmen, superheroes, hell even pokemon revolves around humans). Not many shows/ sci fi movies have sentient personafied objects. But since it's a movie, there HAS to be humans, and asking for no humans is just idiotic. How do you expect them to have actors then? What we need is another animated movie, fair enough we can cut down on human inclusion make them Decepticon puppets.
I know this is a quote from Wiki and not your sentiments. But look @ shows like Beast Wars, which were very successful, due to character driven story. Fine in Season 3 humans came aboard (mind you I wouldn't call them humans.). In ROTF when they added more robots to please fans, they erased them easily, decepticons were so weak, Humans were the ones doing the fighting.
As a TF, I don't care what's out there , because I can't control it, and at the end of the day ... (one shall stand...).. sry, I mean at the end of the day, it's a toy company making money. Decisions taken to include humans/characters/color schemes are all based on something, which I respect.
But truly truly, I do not wish to see humans in the next film, band wagonners can go watch Spiderman or some other crap. But they're essential to the crappy plot, whatcan I say.
I'm excited for the film, since It's the last one of the series (I hope) I do not want to see TF butchered further. Hopefully Marvel Disney combo will push Hasrbo for true innovation. (Not that there hasn't been innovation , in toy design, character design) But innovation in delivery, I'm not sure if that's Bay's fault , or the writers.
Long rant
bottom line, I like teaser, sort of . I'm pissed as why we have never heard of a ship on the moon from the previous 2 movies. But if they include such a plot changing feature that means, they added something worthy. So we'll see.

What would him waking up mean? That he is a messenger warning us of the impending doom ? (Unircon for example). Why would they tease us about someone waking up who will end up being good and friendly. It's definitely not the discovery by the human race. Because by now, I think the human race already knows.
The trailer takes place in the 60's... The human race doesn't know yet
