NiteStar wrote:WAHT?!!!! When did this happen?? Wow Ive been out of the loop with Transformers lately cuz its been so quiet with nothing going on for a awhile now. But I missed hearing about this. Your kidding me? A G1 inspired game? YES!
Thank you!!! And its for gaming consoles too not just PC like that last MMO one?
I watched the trailer and I think I even saw Thrust and Blitzwing. G1 Thrust and Blitzwing??? I dont think I have ever seen their G1 selves in a video game of this era and time....ever.
Thank you to whomever finally listened to the G1 crowd and finally giving something.
The WFC/FOC series was great and I loved it but somehow has been scrapped. And the shooter aspect of felt kind of limiting.
This game not only do we use weapons but we get to kick, punch and fight too???!!!!!
YES THANK YOU!
I cannot wait! I will be waiting at midnight that day for its release.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

He only saved the world once.
I don't think he was generic. Maybe a bit underused; he never got a showcase episode unfortunately.

Well yeah I think we do cuz everything is Bayformers.
There isn't any G1 anywhere.

The High Moon Transformers games age is over for good.
Thank god. I never tried FoC cos War For Cybertron was such a huge boring waste of time and money with terrible floaty altmode controls and blocky models and oh god the tediousness of fighting the large bosses like Trypticon. I want that thrill from hurtling down a mountain in vehicle mode dodging trees and then transforming into robot form and blasting away. The PS2 Armada game may have had some faults (like the annoying physics when knocked or killed) and was based on a bad series but I always thought it deserved a sequel with improvements. Also I'd like them to put that game on PSN so I could play it again on my PS3. I don't have a PS2 anymore.
I was gonna give FoC a try to see if it had been improved but friends told me it was pretty much the same as WfC.

That's not true like at all.
Bayformers have not been relevant since Are in 2014.
Lots of G1 more so then Bayformers.

They did that in hopes that it would get brought over here, but Hasbro said no because of how awful it was (Hasbro didn't even have any input on the game's development, being left out of it completely).o.supreme wrote:Hey man, that's your opinion. I get that the VA was bad. It was not marketed towards North America, so they were obviously not going to get the original actors, it was on par with the horrible English dubs of Headmasters etc. I'm actually surprised it had English dialogue at all, very rare for a Japanese game.

That Japanese G1 game was (and still is) garbage. The voices and acting were terrible, the story was weak, the gameplay was abysmal, the character selection was underutilized... no amount of fanwank could save such a travesty of a game. Who in their right minds thought it would be a good idea to make a game about those who often use guns and blasters and instead only have them go around kicking everything? Absolutely stupid stupid stupid game that was an insult to everything G1.

Courtesy of Hasbro and Activision - for those who missed it, here's a clear view of the SDCC 2015 Transformers Devastation poster!
