This looks awesome! The vehicle mode is beautiful! Now I really hope we get a weaponized Roadbuster, even if it's just the Deluxe figure with the vehicle mode parts retooled, which would actually work pretty well. I hope we get Reprolabels for these too.

Sorry, but this is overhyped. As much as the feeling of completing a trio should result in utter happiness, this mold just looks awful from these pictures. Vehicle mode looks grand, but that's to be expected, it's the movie verse and vehicle modes, especially ones based of real life vehicles should be spot on. But what is that robot mode? The Human Alliance is where it's at with these guys.

I wish Roadbuster was a Deluxe brute. That's the first thing I noticed when I got Topspin. How they should've given Deluxe Roadbuster that treatment. Maybe they'll do that in a later production run.

No no, I like the alt. mode... Car with guns and lots of em, why not, hehe. Its the robot mode that I was commenting on.
Nascars are pretty boring, but its always nice to have a realistic alt. mode. They probably wanted to add all the guns on the alt. mode for the toy to get the attention of kids rather than with a normal looking nascar, which is cool.

Oh. Well then nevermind. I can see your point on the robot mode. It wasn't amazing or spectacular in the movie, but it is what it is and they can't make the robot mode of the figure more epic than it was in the movie. I'll likely display it in Stock car mode 99% of the time anyway because that's where all the guns are seen.

From the looks of it, the missiles on his front end up on the inner thighs, folded back so they're out of the way. The rest of the guns are attached to the roof of the car mode and that appears to be folded up to form his back. So all the guns are hidden away, except for whatever his Mechtech weapon ends up being. But that suits me fine, he didn't really have lots of guns displayed in robot mode anyway.
I know i'm being really picky, but he should at least have a gun on his left arm and right shoulder, so here's to hoping they left them off in robot mode. Also, they really screwed up the hips/torso. i wish it was like on topspin, where you can move the left and right wheel wells/headlights around a little. In the pictures (of the toy) it looks like they are permanently attached to the hood of the car, plus the doors should be on his chest.

A few new images of the upcoming Target exclusive Transformers DOTM Deluxe Leadfoot have surfaced on eBay. Nothing new is revealed and unfortunately no robot mode, but these images do present the figure in more flattering conditions and the previous ones from ACToys. Images from the auction are mirrored below.
