Okay, now that I have the chance to sit down and actually do this...
As AZ mentioned, we have started a recruiting (AKA feeder) alliance. We are putting a level requirement on the main Alliance, either base level 10 or 11 (we are still working out those particulars).
What this means is all
new recruits will have to be at least the level requirement to be in Seibertron. Seibertron II is for 10 and under.
All current members with a base level of 9 or 10 will have the choice to remain in the main alliance (grandfathered in) or move to II until they feel comfortable with coming to the main alliance.
All members under level 9 are asked to move to Seibertron II.
This was kind of a difficult decision for us to make. We like being laid back and not no pressure (which I know a lot of you may say "Wait! You are always kicking us!" I'm not really, I try to give people a few chances before kicking them).
But with limited space and a big gap between player levels we had to do something. Our higher level players need more challenge and well... more sparks. We don't want to risk losing more and more high level players.
The only way we can level the playing field in war so that everyone can participate is to put the level requirement on. In II, lower level players
will be able to fight and win in wars. For the higher level players, we will be better matched in wars.
How this will work...
AZ and I both have second account (or third for AZ

) in Seibertron II. Membership is currently open. We ask that all lower level players leave the main alliance and join II. There we can level up (I will be leveling my account to about level 10, then leaving it at that), have wars, and get all set up to move to the main alliance.
There we will be able to give advice and help new recruits learn how to build defenses, put together solid teams, and win. AZ and I both will try to be as active as we can in II at least for a bit. That way new recruits will know what to expect when they join the main alliance.
We don't want to have to kick anyone from the main alliance, so please move on your own. If I do have to kick, I will let you know in the kick message to join II, we're not kicking because we don't want you, we just want you in the right place.
Once anyone from II has met the level requirement, we'll ask that you apply to the main alliance. As long as there's room it shouldn't be a problem. (we'll figure out something if the time comes that there isn't room)
II will give us a better picture of who's participating than we currently have. Many of you can't participate in war, so I have to guess at levels of participation. We'll no longer have to guess. This will be far less stress for all of us. We'll know who looks to be a good fit, everyone will be able to contribute, and hopefully Seibertron Decepticon Alliance can move up in the leader board ranks.
I do encourage anyone who feels overwhelmed by the gold league wars to move to II. Mostly for your benefit. You'll be moving back up to the main in no time anyway. However, I feel very comfortable with the level 10s we have now staying in the main alliance, and many of the level 9s as well. However, if you don't feel that defensively you're ready, we have the tools to make it easier for you.
This will also mean that we need to be very active in communicating on the forums. I can not put as much time into II as I can the main alliance. It will be up to you guys to let us know progress, how new recruits are doing, and basically just communicate with us what's going on.
We could look into something like Line or Skype, but not everyone is comfortable with that, so we will just leave that as a future option. For now the forums should work just fine as long as everyone stays sort of regular on posting.
PS
For some reason there's an alliance called Seibertron99. We have no idea who that is. Don't join it. We are Seibertron II (ii)
