More like I forgot about Hot Spot and have been thinking of Rodimus as the natural counterpart to Galvatron, but since Galvatron's counterpart is Ultra Magnus he must be paired with Cyclonus. Basically I assumed and you know what they say.

I just want to say this.

Wanting to have the strongest possible alliance isn't naivety. It's wanting the group to be stronger as a whole than the individual pieces. It's what happens when you put others above yourself. It's human nature at it's best.

Alliance jumping for prizes, and acting like you're doing pleebs a favor by chipping in a few points is being a douche. It's being the worst of what humans are. It's insulting to the people who could easily join an alliance to get all the rewards who have stayed to make the group better, knowing that short term it doesn't benefit them, but the long term benefits help everyone.

And finally, if you have the attitude that you don't need to help newbs, you can piss right off. You were a newbie once. Someone helped you.

Help would be what CF said. Getting upset when you're told what would really help tells me that the help you were offering was just to make yourself feel like a better person.

I also completely understand why you're ticked off about the people not pulling their weight. I totally agree with you to be honest. I'm playing three accounts and I am outscoring a lot of people. Hell, I joined late in an event a couple of weeks ago and was hq 5/6 and still outscored a bunch of people. I really wish people would pull their weight.

As I said in the game, I approved his request knowing all too well his intentions. I was okay with that. Apparently though, my "judgement" must be flawed. So who wants to be Commander seeing as I'm clearly lacking support from one of my Officers.

I don't think your judgement is flawed. I understand what you did. You did what you thought was best for the group. I can't fault you for that. I don't, to be honest. It is late here (as in 2 am) and I may not be getting what I mean across clearly. But I don't know if that was directed at me, since I'm not an officer...

I've done what I could for the event thus far, but I am in need of Energon to do my upgrades for those I've maxed out (and the rest of my base stuff too, bleh). Got a respectable amount of battle points, I feel, roughly over 1,500+. I'll be jumping on periodically when my primary team recharges (up to 5 min recharge time, bleh) to do some more damage and win some more for my own battle points total. My primary team is up a bit over 1300 in power level now, so that's great, but I had to lower my secondary and tertiary teams to be below the 700-900 level and around 400-500 as most of my characters have been maxed out from the double XP from the event and are in need for more research done on them to allow them to reach higher levels so I can net some more XP for them.

Don't think we're going to make it quite as high though as to get the 4-star crystal award, but we tried at least. Those of us that could at least.

Knowing this alliance's current output, that 4 star crystal was never going to happen. As Burn was saying in the group chat, though, we really need to up participation. People aren't pulling their weight.

But hey, I got a 3 star crystal out of this event, and it netted me a Scrapper! he's great but I'd really like for the next one to be an all-new character whom I haven't already got at 1 and 2 stars. ^^;

Life circumstances can suck and be part of the reason to be honest. I doubt it is fault with the leadership of the team or anything like that. I know I contributed more for this event than I did last weekend due to having more free time to play with even though I did get busy with adult'ing elsewhere.

Just the cool down stuff sucked to deal with if you have don't want to wait like me. I'm impatient when it comes to blasting and destroying things. I want it now!

I know I tried to do what I could myself with things, I just wish I had a better performing team and I could do more, but these events help me build towards that at least with the double XP. I just now need massive amounts of energon (86,000 a piece) to upgrade 6 of my 'Cons to make them good to go. I know for the last couple wars I was able to get a little further on the bases as well. Got to the third one time and fourth on another before I couldn't progress any further.

I've also stalled on upgrading my HQ fully because I've been focused on upgrading my walls from what Burn said earlier in the thread. Slow and steady.

I stopped getting notifications on this thread. I guess I missed a lot.

Burn. There is no circumstances what so ever that I don't trust your judgment. I come to you FIRST in all situations. You told me to kick him. I didn't. I put it all out in the front yard so there was no he said, she said.

I don't want to loose people. Anyone who is a strong player at least. But 2000 points won't win the prize. I would rather have people there for the long run, when we need 200 points to win a war, or a strong base. Or someone who can contribute 5000 or 6000 points to an event.

That is what I was saying. I never kicked him. I just put the truth out in the open... we need 100%.

Call me naive, I don't give a rat's ass. But at the end of the event, we have to struggle through the **** and do all the work and we need good people to do so. I am sorry we lost him... VERY sorry, I wish everyone would understand I did what I thought was best for everyone.

What I chalk this to is miscommunication between us. But don't you ever think for one second that I don't trust and respect you. I'd have pulled a Rex a long time ago if I didn't.

I'm not going to disagree that we need long term players. But at the same time, if someone wants to jump in and help, whether it's only a couple of hundred points, then I'm not going to say no to that.

Why drive help away just because it doesn't sit well with you? Why should we not get help just because it doesn't sit well with you?

And here it is, the big ol HQ14 base of Nope.

The only possible plan of attack I can come up with is to deploy to the corner and Megatron rush at the builder bot, then drive as hard and fast into base. I expect that to result in a 100% failure rate, but I'll give it a shot.

That might work, but you'Lloyd have to deal with all three mortars and both beams and the bunkers at once. That is a difficult base. Fliers might work, but then they have to deal with the cannons and the bunkers... That is a well built base.

*edit* Skrapnel would f up those cannons, allowing a tank or two to deal with then while fliers deal with all of the heavy d. Scourge might be good there if he is high enough. The bunkers dudes are the unknown.

First attempt failed, I honestly don't think it's worth wasting any more recharges. That thing is just impossible without a team of 4*'s.

Heads up, I'm busy filming again this week. Had a 16 hour day today, have to be back Wednesday and Thursday, possibly Friday depending on whether we finish the Thursday scenes. No phones allowed on set so my participation this week will be very minimal.
