The problem I have is that there's no balance in the alliances. All the top alliances in MAS can usually get all the prizes while all of the lower alliances in MAS can barely get the prizes.

I am technically commander of Seibertron, yes, as my second account is the commander. But we dissolved the alliance. I'm with MAS.

You may not be trying to pick a fight, but you are being a bit... presumptive.

If you aren'the part of MAS you don'the know how it works.

MAS, DZ, EF, and MAS Destruction don't hoard the prizes (I assume you mean during leader board). MAS is the only one capable of top 5, and routinely bring up anyone capable of making the required points to get the leaderboard prizes.

During totalizers, once one of the top 80 alliances finish, we move others down to the feeders to help them finish. When someone goes to log off for the night, someone else takes there place all to make sure everyone finishes.

So everyone gets prizes, it's uninformed to say the top ones leave the feeders in the cold.

Not complaining, mind you. I love my 3 star Brawl, and I ran the risk of getting a dupe Blast Off. Thankfully I already figured I wouldn't get Vortex.

I finally quit the game on Friday so now I'm free to laugh at your luck without fear of karma

Ya know, since I will be getting the crystal, I can call exactly what I will get right now: a 4* Brawl or Swindle. I have the 2 and 3* versions of both. I have 2* Vortex and Blastoff and no Onslaught, so I'll get one of those former 2, calling it now

Well, laugh it up. I knew I wouldn't get a Vortex... and just like Devy and the missing Mixmaster, I will eventually get him.

Meanwhile I got a solid 4 star gunner that I like (unless it was a dupe, there isn't a Combaticon I would be disappointed in) and am not stressing while chasing the all mighty Combiner. It will eventually happen. Besides, I need a lot of Bruticus spark.

I have 4* Swindle, Brawl and Blast Off. So ... awesome gunners and aerial support.

Also have a 4* Nightbird so that kinda balances things out in the "haha I'm not that great after all" way of things.

got a 4* Blastoff. Now all I need are a Vortex and Onslaught...

My alliance didn't even get the top prize, even with MAS higher-ups dropping down to give us a big boost. I can, however, predict what I would have gotten.

For Bruticus, I have 3 stars of Swindle, Brawl, and Blast Off, and a 4 star of Blast Off as well. So I probably would have gotten a 4 star Swindle or Brawl, and not one of the two I needed.

I was in AoE Rogue for the weekend and did fairly well.

And while I was asleep, I got attacked twice, both using Superions in the 2000 power levels

So I decided to bite the bullet and spend some money. I got that Lunar New Year Bundle (Incredible deal really) which was a $4.99 for 5000 coins, 5 crystals, and 10,000 energon. Bought 2 buildbots and 2 more crystals and went for it. got a 2* Viper and Hook out of the crystals and between the 5 dupes got enough for a 3* crystal which got me 3* Blastoff. bit disappointed there since I already have the 4* from the event yesterday, wish I would have got Vortex or Onslaught

Okay, since I paid a visit to Seibs II last night, I noticed a few things that could b use a sprucing up on bases.

1: Bring Sunstar back.

2: in the ever changing world of Earth Wars, a few things have changed for base design. I told Sin I would go over a few basics here since not everyone uses Line.

Upgrading everything is always important. It helps tremendously to have everything hitting at full power. Don't forgot the stasis mines.

It has become a game of of pathing. Optimus rushing your HQ is going to happen. You can make it more difficult, but the best thing to do is make it so the bots have a hard time following OP.

The AI loves to target things closest. So you can leave a trail of breadcrumbs for them. If they have to go around walls to follow OP's charge abilty after a few seconds, after the effect of the abilty wears off, the bots will wander to the closest target rather than to OP's target. If there is something for them to target, they will break up and leave OP scratching at your HQ by himself.

So arrange the walls with breaks and emplacements scattered in there to encourage the bots keep them from going straight up the center. If they have to go around/through walls, then it would separate the team do they can't work together.

Honeycombing or encircling your guns/outposts isn't always the best. Stun/AOE (like Jazz) will get the enemy through those in no time. Outposts often won't trigger if encircled by walls.

You can do it, just don't overdo it.

Spreading things way out makes it easier to rush the HQ with OP. Too tight makes Jazz a happy camper. Leave a few squares between guns (and remember outposts don't take damage until the bot pops out), but no more than 3 squares.

Don't clump everything around the HQ. A good player with rush or stun and/or AOE will negate your entire base.

You want your emplacements always hitting your enemy, just don't make them easy to take them all out. The trick is to layer this that something is constantly hitting them where ever they are. A bit standing in the center should trigger all defenses are both sides. If there's a laser too far off on one side that it doesn't trigger, it can be bypassed.
I have left many bases with half the defenses untouched and still won with no problem.

Be sure to not front load or rear load your base too much. Putting all your mortars/beam lasers/auto cannons in the front/middle or back/middle of the base. All in the back, air support can take them out while dps/warriors collect abilty points in the front. Too far forward you can rush past them and head straight for the HQ. Personally I find rear loading more preferable. Especially of your walls are leading the bots where you want them.

If you have any questions or need visuals, look at the way the top players have their bases. Watch every playback to see what is easy for the bots to defeat, what gives them some trouble.

Now now, get it right: we only wear swim suits on Thursdays. Wednesday's are the "no shoes, no shirt, no problem" days

Well you see, it is 15 degrees F/-9.5 Celsius here, so naked isn't really a good option here.

Fairly casual, for an Autobot? Yeah. I'm an Autobot. Someone once said "kill it with fire" towards me. Someone with a keyboard key in their name. Someone.....

Also, I was in the Seibertron Autobot alliance but left on Saturday. Regardless! If I have 10-15 minutes to check in on the game and fire off a few battles, sure. I just don't plan to run through all of my fuel cells and then come back when they've reloaded. I don't always get points in the Alliance Wars (even though I'd participate) and the last few team events I've only picked up maybe 1000-2000 points (the ones where it's like 50 points avg per battle win). I'm up to an 11 HQ, I'm in the long and annoying process of upgrading the walls to 9 or higher but I probably just need to re-design my base taking some cues from what ctrlFrequency has mentioned. My Alpha squad is only 2400-2500, Bravo is probably 1900, Charlie 1400, Delta 1200, Echo 1000, etc..I don't have many 3* bots, zero 4*, and I'm never spending money on the game again!!

So yeah.
