Tried the first base already and it was close, but I was defeated. I am having a bit of trouble even though it's about a level above me right now in terms of HQ at least. I need to get some of my 2 stars upgraded, but I need 85,000 energon for both to do that. So I might either go after some lower level bases or wait for my production to get up there. So after I get a few of my Cons upgraded I'll probably try the first base out again and see how I do. I would've done more for the event earlier, but I ran out of fuel cells and while waiting to recharge I took a nap for a bit.

Tyrann, you did spectacularly for the event. Much better than some people who are no longer in the alliance. There are a lot that didn't even get close to you in score.

This was a pretty fun event. I dig the Cobra/Decepticon crossover character. Plus, you could actually win the characters rather than having a chance of getting it.
Not as high as I wanted to be in the ranks but there is always room for improvement.

If you feel you have been kicked unfairly, feel free to contact us. Burn, CtrlFrequency, and myself are the officers. We understand that some low-level players are unable to tackle the high level bases we frequently find ourselves up against in wars in the Silver League and above. However, in an event you can strike at the level you are comfortable with. I see from the event rankings that you did score some points, so I'm not sure why you were removed. Have you been active in wars lately? You're showing as a level 8 base so you should have been able to get through at least a few bases in some of our recent wars. I don't keep as close tabs on the leaderboards as Burn and Ctrl so maybe they saw something I didn't. Whatever happened, I think we can resolve this amicably.

That Bot pretty much covered it all. But I just want to add that a "real" alliance will do the exact same thing.

During an Alliance War we may end up matched up against an Alliance whose members actively engage in wars. But if some of our members don't participate (but we can see they've been active) then we're going to lose. And on the off-chance that we win, why should those people get the rewards for doing nothing?

Same with events. We can see when people are active. If they're choosing not to help out their Alliance, then why should they receive benefits?

Now I don't know your level of participation, CtrlFrequency was keeping track of things. We don't make these decisions based on one or two wars, we monitor things over days, sometimes even up to two weeks.

Hey Kyleor.. wanna know something? It was a mistake.I had entered the last war wrong on the spread sheet (yes I have to keep a spreadsheet) and put you in the wrong list because of of your lack luster performance during the last event. You probably shouldn't have been kicked.

Like Burn said, there are alliance who will kick you for that or less. I just happen to give a little more leeway, probably a lot more than I should.


I had been approving those that contacted me back in the alliance, but they were all kind enough to not to come the message board and bad mouth us.

Our last war was realization of Rex's nightmare scenario. We lost simply because a large... I mean it, large, number of people didn't participate. Some base level 8 members tackled that first base and won and some tackled it and lost. But very few told me they even tried. Thanks to those that did.
I need to emphasize that people need to let me know if they tried but couldn't get by the first base. You get an asterisk instead of a 'no' on your row on the usual suspects spreed sheet (which goes back just over two weeks now, by the way, it's a really long tally )

I can be contacted here, you can post a message like Tyrranacon did, send me a pm here, or if I'm in game (it'a not like anyone will not notice I am) send me a message there, though here is better as that game chat is so unreliable.

Thanks. My Con teams range between levels 500 to close to 890 or so. My HQ level is at about 7 I believe. I know I made a spirited offense on the first base in the current war and failed twice. As for the medals, I am getting attacked by higher up players or players with 3 or 4 star Autobots that literally cut through my defenses like a knife in hot butter. My walls are about the only thing I'm behind on in terms of upgrades, I think they're level 5 at the moment mostly. My center walls where I doubled up are about 6 or so. I focused on defenses, production, and supply first. This is kind of similar to what I do in most RTS games.

I did have about 15 medals or so until somehow I reset and was dropped back to 0. That was at the start of the event actually, which was kind of weird. I forgot to check in with support about it though as I got busy these last couple days. My Galvatron, Cyclonus, and Scourge were showing up actually and I had to clean a bit more because I got an inspection again for my apartment on Monday.

Part of it with getting reset I feel was a glitch, the other part was actually due to other players cutting through my defenses and subsequently my HQ. When I do start attacking players through the Battle menu I'm usually fighting in Zone 2 with people that are about 300 or so because I'm not powerful enough to go through Zone 3 or anything higher where I need my teams to be at least above 1050.

I'll get up there. Just slow and steady wins the race I guess.

Kyleor, one thing I gotta say is that you should always tell your team or those you work with even what's going on with you. Communication is a huge and big thing actually. In this case no one knows about your activity level but you. So in the face of "no news" this is the result here.

I know I'm not in any position of power (and I'm actually thankful and happy not to be after what I've been through), but you need to talk with the powers that be in the group and state that you've tried or put effort forward in case. When I did run a website I focused on having communication between staff in order to see who was doing what and weed out the people that just wanted the title versus who wanted to actually work towards a goal. It was the key to things and it helped everything in the end.

Though most of them made the joke I was like Darth Vader in the Robot Chicken sketch with Malcolm McDowell because of my propensity to maintain the site and staff all at once. Here, this clip:

ah, that makes sense. Though that just demonstrates a massive game flaw. If you're being attacked by someone stronger you shouldn't be losing medals.

But we all came to the conclusion a while back that this medal system is incredibly stupid.

I think it looks pretty fun. The character models look cool. I might try it out.
As for the pay to play. I played Dragonvale for a long time without ever having to spend a red cent. So I bet it's possible with this one. Just takes a lot of patience. I like how this game has some Dragonvale elements to it, or Clash of Clans, like Kyleor said.

There is a similar system in Star Wars Commander with medals and matchmaking actually. I get pounded by Rebel forces that are levels above my Imperial base all the time and lose medals and supplies.

I will say that lately I've been kind of evenly matched with a few that do attack and my defenses *gasp* WORK for once. As such, I thank Primus for this bountiful blessing whenever it occurs though.

With the recent 'purging' I think I need to clear up a few things so everyone knows what's going on.

1. I am only kicking people who aren't joining in wars/events.

Joining in includes scoring points and attempting to score points. I think it's safe to say Bot, Burn, and I are understanding that not everyone can score points in the war, and not everyone can score 4000+ BP in the events. I keep track of every event/war so I know who is trying and just had a tough run, and who is just with us for the stuff and pulling minimal effort.

To caveat that, I'm not a mind reader (trust me, I've tried ), so you need to let me know if you tried but couldn't get the first base down. Otherwise, I use the other people who are the same base level as you as a benchmark. If they can, you can... though that's not always true with team power levels.

So please, let me know that you tried.

2. The chat system in game is completely unreliable.

So is my memory. You might be best to drop me a quick pm here or post in this thread if you have something important like you gave an attempt at a base.

I hate to say it, but the more active you are in chat, the more forgiving I am because we are talking and I know what you are doing. However, I get that not everyone likes to chat, so just pm me here. Unless this new thing SpaceApe is promising comes in like we think it is and I'll have the tools to see more rather than using the honor system.

3. I am working on getting the 'cheerleaders' out of the alliance.

So it's worth saying.. we can tell who's logging in, fighting a fight or two (or none), giving the old "we're almost there! We can do it!" In chat and then disappearing with only giving the appearance of participating.

You are on the team, not the sidelines wearing short skirts and shaking your pompoms. Get in there and work with the rest of us.

4. Language and such.

We are all pretty good about keeping things kid friendly. My 7 year old (can read really freaking well) is sometimes in the game, he likes to attack bases so I let him. I know JakePrime's kid sometimes is watching. So try to keep swearing to a minimum. Slip up happen, I understand. Just no habits.

Also, I would like to mention to please keep a certain level of decorum. We represent Seibertron.com. Like it or not, we have to make this site look good.

I'm not saying don't tease each other, especially Bots, because come on, I live on snark, just don't be vulgar.

If this is something that might be hard for you to do, look for another alliance. Joining Seibertron makes us ambassadors for the site.

I always attempt the first base at least once if even recognizing their HQ is higher than I can handle. I will make all 3 attempts at it to try different tactics if I feel I can, but I feel like if I fail all those I hurt your guys's score in the alliance so that's kind of why I'm hesitant to do the additional two when I've failed the first one. So, sometimes it's why I'm attempting at least once. I don't know if you guys can tell that.

These are my team's power levels, Team 1: 946; Team 2: 715; Team 3: 650. Keep in mind I only have 5 slots on my team. So I'm still kind of lagging behind. Honestly it's why I've been concentrating my efforts on events instead of wars.

I've noticed that too! Actually it only preserves things for a limited amount of time as well. It only dates back to a 3 hours or so. After that, it's just events in it that are listed from the actions you folks on the command staff are doing with adding/removing.

Everything else, understood and obeyed.

When it comes to scores in the wars, failing doesn't have any more effect than not trying.
If you loose all three or don't attempt, it does the same thing, just doesn't add to the score.

The deduction comes if you do win after losing after the first try. But that's not so much a negative effect so much as a better something than nothing.

Ah. Okay. I was wondering exactly. I wanted to help and not hurt you guys in any way. It's kind of why I always just gave it one shot, always, and if I failed I went back to resource collection and grinding to level up my teams.

Like I said, I typically focus on doing more for team events than alliance wars given how powerful my teams are. (BTW: No. I don't think you were referring specifically to me in your posts, I felt the need to clarify though what I'm doing since you're the ones in charge. I know we're good otherwise.)

Of the first base is level 10 and you're level 7, you don'the have to really give 3 attempts if you don't want to
I gave all three attempts on the level 13 base yesterday knowing I wouldn't win simply because I like testing theories. Also hate knowing there are more attempts out there even though I don't have a chance.

Plus it helps with my appearance of being crazy as ****. (Not sure if that's really appearance or reality)
