This is a new rendition of the Combaticons and Bruticus. They're allowed to be different from their G1 counterparts. If you hate the colors so much, paint 'em youself.

I think they chose those colours for Vortex so that in combined mode, Bruticus's body doesn't blend with Vortex and his cooler colours, making the rest of the limbs seem out of place. Thats my theory anyway.
