Back on subject. WHY DOES EVERYONE KEEP CALLING THESE DELUXES?! Am I missing something? Because there is absolutely no way in the fiery pits of hell Hasbro would do that for a video game title! Onslaught may be a deluxe, but the rest must be scout/cyberverse.

The original source told us they where deluxes.

even if there weren't going to be anymore.. why in the world would you do such a thing? how do you not keep megatron and prime just because they're megatron and prime? that doesn't make sense to me.

you gotta thank the guys developing this video game.....we would never have these toys if those guys didnt come up with these cool designs. heres hoping hasbro dont F it up. dare I say.....this has the potential to be better than FPs brut

I really think they've been planning to do it for a little while. I'm REALLY glad I didn't sell a kidney and a spleen in order to buy that overpriced unofficial Devastator, which to me was the biggest ripoff in the history of Transformers.

It's about time that Hasbro brought us a REAL, NEW Combiner. Something that is not just a re-hash of the sadly underwhelming Energon Combiner molds. (Which were elbows, hands, and feet from being any good) This news, combined with the Fall of Cybertron Shockwave listing have got me so Excitebike for the upcoming additions to my Classics 'Cons shelf. I'll take Cybertronian versions. As long as they're G1 characters, that's where they go IMO.

im easily passing on the Prime line now we have all this goodness to look forward to, 1 week ago i never would have thought we would get a wave like this,

so yeah screw prime im puttig money aside and im gonna buy these figures as soon as they hit the shelves by the time there out i should have enough saved to buy one of each, if i can hold off buying other stuff .

I wonder if this will effect the price of the Fansproject upgrade kit and bruticus Maximus sets?

Maybe TF:Prime was Hasbros way of saying "We can make limited release products that sky rocket in price too if that's what you guys really want?"

I can see it now, somewhere hidden deep within Hasbro HQ, a secret line of toys has been being developed code named: Fight! Super Robot Lifeform: Revenge of the Hasbro. 2012 marks the end of the world... For 3rd party as Hasbro pumps out official releases of all the third party products to come out, causing prices to plummet, enraging fans who broke bank accounts obtaining them, only to come to the realization that it was they who could not keep there pants on waiting for Hasbro. The event causes the complete abandoning of expensive third party by the fans out of fear of Hasbro releasing the same product next year for a fraction of the cost, while at the same time, devaluing our expensive 3P plastic...

I still can't wait for not sixshot, not Megatron and the rest of my not devastator ^__^

But they're not. "G1-inspired" doesn't always equate to "G1". Look at the Energon and Animated toys, for instance.

I would argue that WFC is a member of the G1 continuity family, even if it is the creepy cousin dressed all in grey who sits in the corner polishing a gun.

We're going to have to agree to disagree. I feel like the Aligned thing came about after WFC started development. In interviews High Moon stated that their ambition was to tell the story of the early years of the conflict, implying that they were talking about the pre-established continuity of G1.

I hadn't even thought of that! I'll have to change my sig... I could keep it balanced with either the Armada Minicon or the Autobot one! I had at one point considered adding the other Blight but I think that would ruin the joke.

Original intent or not, what matters is that it currently is not any iteration of G1.

Someone here (not me) even once made the argument that Animated more closely resembles G1 than WFC does.

the only i'd suggest is a darker green for brawl other than that it looks awesome.
