Actually its Kickback.Sabrblade wrote:Watching the Grimlock clip makes me realize that the Insecticon I was thinking was Chop shop in the game was really Sharpshot. Guess all that background noise at the convention drowned out the pronunciation of his name.
Grimlock and Shockwave call the guy by name in the game. Whoever they were talking to, it wasn't Kickback.ILL-Star wrote:Actually its Kickback.Sabrblade wrote:Watching the Grimlock clip makes me realize that the Insecticon I was thinking was Chop shop in the game was really Sharpshot. I know this. All I'm saying that the Insecticon both Shocky and Grimmy were talking to wasn't referred to in-game as Kickback, so must have been Sharpshot, in spite of us seeing Kickback in the same room in this gameplay. Maybe both Kickback nd sharpshot are seen in this level together in different part of this room, or something.Archanubis wrote:From looks of the character, Sharpshot is the new name for Shrapnel, just as "Hardshell" is for Bombshell.

This game looks way more action packed than the first game, which was loaded with action.
Plus Slag saying "Excuse me" after knocking the door down in top of Kickback.
The Insecticon Slug knocks the door over is Kickback.Archanubis wrote:I was looking at the part of Grimlock's gameplay where Slag (he's Slag to me, even if his official name is "Slug") breaks in. Hard to tell who that Insecticon is, but the head makes me think ILL-Star may be right. The shape of the head is pretty close to Kickback's, even if his face isn't. Just have to play the game to find out.

Sabrblade wrote:(Swoop seemed to get free on his own, unless we're missing something).
Well, when Grimlock is fighting to free Snarl, Swoop kinda just shows up on his own, flying by saying, "Hey Grimlock, where ya been?" while being chased by some flying Insecticons. So, I figured that him showing up like that in Snarl's prison arena meant he could have freed himself.Archanubis wrote:Sabrblade wrote:(Swoop seemed to get free on his own, unless we're missing something).
Maybe it's to compensate for the fact that Swoop is the one Dinobot (other than maybe Sludge) who gets beat up in some fashion. Or Shockwave is the one holding him.

That was an animal. Sharpshot's a named individual. No way is he getting killed off so swiftly like that.Goldfinger_42 wrote:And that's why Vortex is my favorite Combaticon. Blast Off was pretty badass too, though...
And was it just me, or did the giant Insecticon Grimlock was fighting look like it was supposed to be Shrapnel/Sharpshot? It has the beetley look, the pincers, and the electric current thing going on.

But Slag did sound like that in at least "War of the Dinobots".budmaloney wrote:One thing that I didn't like in previous vids, was Slag's voice was not how it used to be.
