They will honor the preorder price if you placed one earlier. They have done that on items before and will always honor that price you originally placed it on. I think they may be playing this one safer since Stepper never sold out like they probably thought it would. Right now, the stock they have for Artfire is at 32. But this morning it was at 120+.

Both United Stepper and the upcoming Artfire are mail-order items from Transformers Generations toy guide books by Million Publishing. They have nothing to do with Hasbro or the Generations line.

I never understand how BBTS gets away with the initial bump up in price. They have done it on more than one occassion for Transformers figures. I would like an explanation from them.

According to my resource in Japan, these Artfire's are not limited in quantity, they are made to fill all orders that are submitted by the deadline that meets all the requirements.

I used to use Fan2Fan a lot but after they switched their Paypal prices to yen, I don't find their prices and shipping (combined) much of a bargain.
