Certainly. One's a Voyager while the rest are all Deluxes.

The same of which is more of a commercial passenger aircraft while the four Deluxes are all combat aircraft.

The backpack really has me question my interest in this particular figure, and the qualms I already have with the Stunticons just make me think I doubt I'll get anything more than the Aerialbots at the moment.

Even Defensor and Devastator do not tickle my plastic joy - not like Superion did/does. Maybe it is just the desire to recreate the cover for Windblade CW #1!

Which the Stunticons truly are: Skydive and Air Raid are supposedly a pretool pair, the only one within a single team so far.

Meh I prefer blocky look of breakdown; the TFCC interpretations even though using the right figure for time; couldn't accomplish the flat chest of the original breakdown; instead with the hood chest; he looked about as buxom as any other given 84-85 car; and tended to blend in.

As far as I can tell, there is nothing not cool about that toy. Even his sword is cool.

My thoughts exactly!! His alt mode and robot modes are both solid, and I can't wait to get that awesome looking sword!!

Also, my CW Silverbolt arrived in the mail today! I love it! Plus, I made sure to buy 2 Skydives (I wish I had 2 Alpha Bravo's - maybe someday), so no Dragstrip limb for me!

I did this by accident... My first Skydive broke at the shoulder, and I bought a second. Figured "well, since Air Raid isn't out yet, and I would feel dirty if I put Dragstrip on Superion, so...".

By superion, I believe you meant Alpha Bravo . Because I love him as well, I think we should start a religion called Alpha Bravo-ism. We will worship a combiner made up of Silverbolt (with Alpha Bravo's head) and 4 Alpha Bravos as the limbs. Our ideals will be based off of those of our savior alpha bravo.

While I am grabbing the figures, I was never that into the Aerialbots. The Stunticons, on the other hand, had more personality.

They should retool the Arcee mold into some badass Stunticon girl. She doesn't even have to combine with the others. She could just ride Menasor like Master Blaster from Thunderdome.

I really hope the Hasbro Slingshot rumors aren't a hoax, or I'll be so mad. Alla yalls can have your own opinions or whatever, that's fine, you're entitled to them, but to me no one could fill my favorite Aerialbot's shoes, let alone some predeco of Blades and or Vortex.

AB on his own, whatever, he's a'ight, I suppose, but as an Aerialbot, nope, nuh uh, nananana, I can't hear you, the part of ten year old me that still lives on deep down inside just ain't havin it, no matter what sort of madness is apparently at play in today's comics.

I actually think Alpha s a well made figure, just not an Airialbot. I do see why hasbro would want to break up the mahogany of jets. I get it, I just don't like it. Personal preference. So I will hold out hope for a hasbro release of slingshot, and when that is confirmed or killed, I'll make my CW decision.

Aren't they using Car Robots Gigatron/RID Galvatron as the current Galvatron? I think that's pretty cool. Or is he Gigatron in the books? Either way I'm glad that evil Mofo is getting some face time.

I'd love to see a new Overlord toy.

Gigatron showed up in the current Drift mini as Gigatron. Galvatron started out with a G1-style design, and is now sporting a more unique tank design.

I'm very skeptical that there is actually any real competition in this 'poll.' There was an interview posted somewhere a few days ago which Hasbro basically tells IDW which character to use/focus on, to go with the toys they're designing at least a year in advance of the story & toys being revealed. Does IDW get a say? Most likely, but Hasbro's driving this franchise.

My cynical belief is that Hasbro already has this "Fan Made" combiner done, dusted, and designed and is making us fans feel all warm and fuzzy over choosing it.

Either way, I like the Sea of Rust source. I'm hoping for a Junkion-style vibe from them.

I haven't followed Star Wars figures that much in resent years.

Also, the comic book art work for Breakdown shows his combiner kibble pegged into his back, like he has in one of the pictures of the figure.

Is anyone having just a little hope since that the combiner is from the Sea of Rust, and the Sea of Rust is from Fall of Cybertron, MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYBBBBE, just mayyyyybe this means something for Transformers games?
