This is a easy way out in design, make most of the parts just flip up on the back like a shell in robot mode.

I'm treating the CW stuff a lot like PCC figures.
They are fun, and I'm not taking them too seriously.
I'll prolly get it.

Were the G1 figures any different? Slide out/flip around legs, pull out arms, flip up the front, and you're done![]()
Blades look pretty decent, can't wait to get him. Would be perfect if I found and bought him before any other limbs, since he's the very first Combiner limb I ever got.

These are not G1 figures (Transformers Generations Combiner Wars) and it's 2015. Is this the best we can do in design?![]()
Hell, G1 figures might have been blocky, but many didn't have back pack style designs. Also they stand the test of time and don't fall apart like the new China reissues of G1 figures or light weight crappy feeling plastic of today. Just saying !
Like I said, I will leave them on the pegs for you my friend, spend your money !

G1COLLECTOR wrote:Sure , you can find G1 with some backpack style transformations, but most did not. Megatron, Blaster, Prime,Soudwave, I can't list them all here and everyone knows the deal with Blocky G1 figures.
My point is, this is 2015 and seems that they are just cutting corners big time in design by throwing so much crap on the backs of these bots. I love that they can combine, but it's not easy or cheap to come up with a design that can look good in all 3 modes, right.
