Had a lot of fun today on my day off. Trying to come up with the perfect combiner and testing stuff out. I am noticing how I really like certain molds but they might not go well together. Don't know what I will write for my favourite figure of 2015 in the year end wrap up. Will/can it be a whole combiner? Or just a mold? Or my own scramble city? Dont know, but scrambln' is fun!

I cannot wait for Sky Reign to come out. Between Sky Lynx, his limbs, the OM limbs and Cyclonus, it'll be fun to scramble! I already have this planned: the Lost Light combiner: Cyclonus as torso, Trailbreaker and Mirage as legs, Hound and Streaker as arms. It'll be great! ability to display them seperate or have a little combining fun! Plus I can swap out cyc for Sky when I want to

Then how do they explain Sky Lynx? coz he's a beast!(a mythical one at that), granted he only makes up the main body of a combiner! & the limbs are not beasts......but still!

I cant explain it. I can only tell you what Habro said. They said that any traditional combiners with beast alt modes you might have been expecting are currently not in development.

Well...a) I never said that Sky Lynx was in dire need of an update! someone may have! but it wasn't me.

& b) here in the UK we have a hard enough time in trying to get Brainstorm from B&M Stores! coz they've yet to stock him. But a Highbrow would be nice

Seibertron's very own ChuckDawg1999 has sent a new video review our way. This time, it is for Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Legends Rodimus.

Legends Rodimus is an interesting figure. Most fans would agree that the original Classics mold has needed an update, well we got that update plus a downsizing. I'm a bit disappointed that the mold wasn't adjusted further to allow the ax weapon to be pegged in, in robot mode thus creating the iconic spoiler. If you're a fan of the character or the mold I can recommend this as a solid purchase.

Well I've been out of collecting Transformers for a while and I didn't think I'd come back to it. That said I am really impressed with the Combiner Wars line. When I saw Optimus I knew I had to have him because the sculpt looked so good. Now I'm hooked on getting the rest of the line.

I was disappointed to see Rodimus as a legend class. Was that done solely for the reason to make him a chest piece?

It may also be a reference to Star Convoy, along with Battle Core Optimus Prime's new combiner mode head sculpt. Star Convoy was the resurrected for of Optimus Prime much later in the Japanese G1 series. In that form, Hot Rod served has Star Convoy's Targetmaster.

And speaking of Star Convoy, this year marks another figure who is a huge callback to that. He just came out in Japan and I think he would be totally awesome paired up with a "micromaster" rodimus:









Also, I think they made him rodimus simple because the alt mode was very reminiscent of him.

Crappy Rodimus figure. The Classics mold may be a lil dated in articulation and such but it's still a vastly superior representation of the character to this waste of plastic.

Actually, you know what? That totally works. The CHUG Deluxe Rodimus would be an updated version of the original Rodimus, while this new rodimus is not a further upgrade but instead an updated version of the micromaster
