How does the toy package of Ultra Magnus explain Minimus is he described as he is in the comic or is their a "Toy continuity" explanation of him as some sort of Minicon like companion ? Or does it not explain it at all either on the box or the instructions.
Which reminds me I've been meaning to ask this for a while and it keeps slipping my mind - if Combiner Wars comics come with extended Bios for the Deluxes does that mean Bios short or longer exist for the other sizes too that lack them ?

Calling him Slingsh**t is being childish? So you are saying you let your children curse ?![]()
I think the brown color plus lack of a new head fits the name fit perfectly.
No it's childish in the fact that you're a grown adult making up immature names for something that you don't like. Very similar to a child throwing a temper tantrum.
Well Im sorry that adults arent allowed to make jokes or have a good laugh in your world. In my world its perfectly fine. Its called having a sense of humor.
You can have a sense of humor without being immature. I mean you bought an alpha bravo and put him in the toilet for Christ's sake. If that's not childish I don't know what is
Well I thought that s**t was funny. And it was so memorable that even though I took that alpha bravo pic months ago you remember it like it was yesterday and remember Im the guy who facilitated it. Since wanna come online slinging insults like calling someone "childish" based on a one sentence comment, I have no problems giving my opinion on you either. You my friend are boring. If you dont find a little humor amusing, my guess you must be super anti-social. And to hit me with a low blow saying im "childish" is nonsense. Were all a bunch of grown ass men who collect childerns toys so dont expect everyone on here to be stiff and serious as you are. Lighten up and have some fun dude. And im not attacking hasbros version of Blast Off for not being G1. Im attacking it for being a lazy repaint that didnt even get a new head or the better option. (Fireflight who has a faceplate and was available) If Hasbro felt so strongly that a space shuttle doesnt belong in a combat unit, they could have blessed us with a new mold of a military jet or at least a god damn new head like blades, wildrider, and slingshot got. What Hasbro pulled with the slingshot head was totally unacceptable.
Then you must have a very low brow sense of humor and I feel bad for you that your sense of humor hasn't evolved past poop jokes. I am very antisocial and it's simply because there's too many people like you out in the world. I remember your post because it was ridiculous and I remember you did it because you're the only one on this site who would make such a crass joke. Just because we collect toys meant for kids doesn't mean we have to act like them. You said it yourself, we're grown men so maybe you should try acting like one sometime. Now I can trade blows with you all day long but I doubt everyone else wants to read it so I'm ending this here. But if you want to know why I find you so damn irritating it's because people like you who uphold g1 so much are the biggest problem with this community and make it very unwelcoming to potential new collectors. Everything that isn't exactly the same as it once was isn't good and anything that you don't like is lazy. Like I said above, God forbid anything in a toy line based on changing shapes deviates from the way things used to be.

Buy Optimus Maximus. He's well worth it. Just don't use Rodimus, OM looks best without him.

I appreciate the ambiguity though... The reason I'm stroking my chin a bit about this is if you step to the side and look at the bio in isolation - and pretend ignorance of the comic explanation.
If you then read that bio and think upon what Titan Wars might be - It makes me wonder as I have been doing about : Thundercracker, Starscream & Megatron/s do those toys in some way represent a prelude to the 2016 Titan Wars theme in some ways.
The "Seekers" & Megatron Seem big to me and SkyWarp will be released very close to the Titan Wars launch. Minimus just seems to me to be some sort of prelude toy perhaps.

You purposly avoided commenting the fact that my simple one sentence joke was attacking Hasbros Blast Off as being a lazy repaint that deviated from Combiner Wars "at least give it a new head" rule that we all thought was a given by now. You keep writing G1, G1, and more G1 in your responses, even though I never once mentioned G1 in my original joke. Youre trying to see s**t thats not even there just to find a reason to attack me on some total bulls**t. I was simply making fun of Hasbro Blast Off being a straight up lazy brown repaint not even worthy of getting a new head. The reason I said Takara was doing Blast Off next year was not because their mold will be more G1, but because they are actually MAKING AN EFFORT to give us collectors a figure that isnt a cheap lazy repaint. So now that you know what my joke meant, stop trying to look for stuff that just aint there. You wanna attack G1 fans, at least do it in the right place and find the right punchlines to quote to build an argument. It seems like youve been keeping tabs on my comments for quite some time lurking in the sidelines. If my alpha bravo jokes (for being another lazy pointless repaint) bothered you so much, why didnt you get at me when it was relevant? Where were you when Alpha Bravo got baptized ? I never heard of you bro. Obviously you heard of me and you know I like me some G1. I also like me some new stuff too. Ive shoehorned characters such as Bulkhead, Drift, and Strongarm right into my classics collection. But when it comes to Hasbro homaging 30 year old characters, I say get it right. I dont see you complaining that Swindle is an extensive retool of Rook. Hasbro got Swindle right because they actually MADE AN EFFORT. Blast Off wasnt so lucky. He didnt even get a new head. (or the more accurate Fireflight option that existed) Fortunately Azim from Renderform said he will be doing a proper Blast Off head. And then theres the Takara version coming out next year. Ill be getting both. I take it you wont be getting either. Suit yourself. Im a vocal consumer. If a slingshot dunked in dookie dye is satisfactory for your tastes, than enjoy your lazy repaint. Dont knock others for actually giving a s**t about the homage value of a character being upheld rather than being crapped on literally by Hasbro.

The Prime torso is beautifully fixed and the color scheme is nice. The robot mode head is AMAZING and I love it to no end. The combined mode head is pretty awesome too.
The limbs have very nice paint jobs to me and the overall aesthetic looks pretty stunning. The fact that you can place the prowl and Sunstreaker weapons in so he has shoulder cannons is pretty cool too.
Overall I really do like him! really do!! He is a great figure and honestly worth the investment. I will be keeping him in the configuration from CW4: Ironhide and Mirage as legs, Streaker and Prowl as arms. Helps him look much different from Menasor and overall really good.
I rate him pretty high. If you can, pick him up! great overall figure

Is he stable in the combiner mode or does he fall down go boom! Like Menasor?
Leader Megatron was conceived well before Combiner Wars, and was originally intended to be released in the Generations Thrilling 30 phase before the switchover to Generations Combiner Wars. It's just that the switchover came before the toy could be released.RAR wrote:There is a slight ambiguity in the Terms "Allow Ultra Magnus" to fight on - it almost implies that Minimus is resurrecting him rather than replacing him. He stands very stable. The fixed hips are definitely worth it, and he is just as stable as Superion and Defensor. He will not fall over, and believe me, I have tested him to see if he will

Supposedly the TT Motormaster shares the mold but I have a bit of an effort to keep him, Menasor standing stable. Anyways, thanks for the update.
