Welp! I called it back when the groove mold first got revealed, and I'm calling it now,

I think the only reason they didnt put out an online exclusive wave for groove like they did with quickslinger and brakeneck is because they would've had to do solid cases of ONLY groove back then. but now there's a new revised mold for another character (unite warriors Blast-Off) they'll put out another 50:50 case of those 2.

Thats my theory and I'm betting the farm on it.

I think this is what happened - or something close to it;

I could see TT throwing a temper tantrum when hasbro wanted to do a legends Groove, which led to TT wanting to do a deluxe Groove, which led to one of them wondering who they could remold bigroove into, which led to Computron, which led to needing a drill tank, which led to needing a second use of said drill tank, which led to Liokaiser, which led to a convenient use of all three new molds in one combiner, which led to hasbro going, ' '

I don't even know what's going on in here at the moment, too much reading to catch up on.

I'll give you a rundown:

• Hasbro put a bunch of old Legends mobile game artwork on their site for a new Combiner Wars section that just lists each member of some combiner teams.
• Said artwork depicts several of the characters in bodies that resemble non-CW toys.
• The Defensor entry of this Combiner Wars section erroneously listed Groove as a limb for CW Defensor despite the accompanying toy image of Defensor showing Rook in Groove's place, along with Legends class Groove on Defensor's chest not being recognized by the new section.
• Someone saw this error, mistook it for a possibility of Hasbro releasing Takara's Deluxe class Groove, and alerted the news staff.
• The error got posted as news when it really isn't.
• and now some people are thinking that this is a sign of Hasbro releasing Deluxe Groove.
• Also, some random things about Prowl, Sky Reign's early working name of "Lynx King" (carried over from a previous news post), something about a civil war, and... Community references, apparently.

Yep we saw. someone posted it in the toys up for online pre-order/instock thread a bit ago, but thanks for alerting this thread!

Now i must silence you and not news this. I need vortex to come up before I buy them, and if one sells out before Vortex is up, I'm gonna do terrible things to whoever news or shares this

I was going to suggest that maybe they didn't consider Rook as disposable as as Alpha Bravo and Offroad apparently are, but then I realized how naive that would sound.

Oh when I was in Cambridge a few days ago, I saw they had most of the Combaticons in Forbidden Planet. Onslaught, Brawl, Swindle and Vortex. No Blast Off. Also Drag Strip was price reduced down to £11.99 cos he's been in there for seventy billion years.
