Why do people want the same thing over and over again? I don't get it.
The funny thing is that they first complain about don't getting something new and then they complain about it that it actually is something new. Those people should just buy the G1 reissues and ignore the rest. It was the same thing with the AoE toys: The generations line was meant the older kids and collectors and the rest (one- and three-step-changers and so on) for young kids but the collectors complain about something that wasn't meant for them.
Ridiculous!
I am not complaining! I'm actually one of the ones who does not complain much. All I was saying about the customs was the backwards transformation of a custom which was good, and I was more commenting on how other people have made a point of mentioning in this thread that Blastoff's arms should be his nosecone. I am also one who does not care for G1 original toys and prefers generations guys as well as enjoys movies and movie toys. So please don't imagine me as a complainer, cause I really don't

I guess if they wish to charge a premium price (even more of one I should say) then they may wish to co-pack Blast-Off and Groove in a split wave of 2 figures.
Unless they decide to release them as a Vs Pack in a box instead.
Personally I would very much welcome some more "Repaints" sold in the Vs Pack / twin pack format - I like that sort of stuff (like the Starscream/Bumblebee pack from Transformers Prime).
But I do think it would be a bit of a shame if there was never any plan to release the many other characters the moulds are suited too like : Ratchet, Hoist, Bluestreak, Slicer, Sideswipe (perhaps even Barricade & Detritus or some "Seekers") it does not have to be in any hurry but repaints of Combiner wars toys do make more sense than Repaints of Titanmasters do - they would at least be slightly less forced Repaints if they were doing the likes of Bluestreak.

Just had a thought the other day: if Hasbro actually does a Liokaiser, they'll probably end up renaming about half of the team, what with their names having words like "death" and "hell" and "kill" in them. So, I'm looking forward to Blastbat, Blastbison, and Blastsaurus.

Well, Toys R Us got in most of the AoE Generations and Argos had the couple of Leaders but yes for the most part the UK stores just went with the overly-simplified stuff. Supermarkets that had previously sold Deluxe and Voyager toys from previous lines filled their shelves with one-steps and power battlers...
Even then Toys R Us still didn't get in the wave 2 voyagers though which is why I'm still missing Hound and Galvatron and have to get around to ordering those online if not yet silly priced sometime.

The entertainer had hound and evasion mode drift in when I last looked but still at the normal pricing.
Also toys r us had exclusive deals on the generations stuff hence why we had to go with the simplified stuff in the shops...apart from the other exclusives like the two packs which gave us a really nice terrasaur in strafe colours and a legion stinger

After making a shopping trip, I can't help but feel sad: TRU has the limb combaticons, but for $20 a piece! I wanted to pick them up so bad, but I could not justify spending $20 more for limbs at TRU then if I found them in walmart or Target.

One time, at a store in Disney World, I found the deluxe Protectobots for $25 apiece, BC OP and the fixed MM for $40, and the Megatrons for
$70 frickin' dollars.

But those are specialty stores and he prices make sense. They are priced for the desperate or those that dont know any better. We have a store like that here and they were selling their Megatron for 80$

Yup as a Canadian who frequently gets coupons for Toys r us off of discarded kids movie popcorn buckets it's the cheapest place to buy Transformers at least in my area and not counting second hand stores.

Prices all over the board here. Craziness. Some people can go to TRU and it is the cheapest; others go and it is the most expensive. the wonders of a website with people from many different countries

Evasion mode drift is a redeco of skyhammer from the Dark of the Moon line but with a new head. Looks quite good in person!
As for hound, I saw the voyager in the Swindon entertainer between Xmas and New year.

Just recently got CW Mirage and Sunstreaker. Mirage is just PERFECT in every ways. Sunny is really nice in both modes and I'm really glad they took the time to remold the big bot hand/feet to make his "engine block". However, it's impossible to turn sunny into a combined arm because the legs just refuse to stay pegged together without the arms to hold them in place like in leg or car mode. So, Sunny can only be a combined leg. Anyone else have that Sunny issue?

No. And the HFG wasn't remolded for Sunstreaker, as it can do the same thing with Breakdown.

Oh? So it can do it with Streetwise too? Err no. The "cop cherries" on top of the car would prevent that. I had o problem with either Streetwise or Breakdown. Maybe my Sunstreaker have stiffier legs than normal, making the pegs hard to align properly.

Why would it work with Streetwise? Sunny's HFG is the same as Breakdown's. And Streetwise isn't the same mold as them, so it wouldn't work.
