Fellow lucky Seibertronian albnok, who was able to pick up BOTH G2 Superion and Menasor at retail, has now posted a quick roundup of the boxes' contents. The coolest feature are the posters included in the boxes. The less cool feature are the super tiny instructions. He also compares these sets to the actual G2 toys. Check out all that he had to say.

Yes, my G2 Slingshot has a bad case of Gold Plastic Syndrome. Combiner Wars G2 Quickslinger however has a black combiner port so at least we know if it happens, that part won't be affected. It's a different colored plastic though.

Here's every single Combiner Wars Deluxe figure which is not an exclusive, and every single Combiner Wars Voyager figure (except Scattorshot, since I'm holding up for a possible Computron set.)


I managed to get all 4 Combaticon limbs from a guy in Malaysia who ships them in from Hong Kong. for RM300 (for scale, G2 Superion and G2 Menasor were RM580 each! Mad price for what, a poster?) He said that usually, stock that is deemed to have a low demand will be sent to Malaysia first. So Hound/Trailbreaker/Wheeljack/Smokescreen apparently isn't that popular! He surmises that Wreck-Gar will probably come in early too since it's probably unwanted.

Defensor looks awesome with black limbs. I would just give him Prowl (because unlike Dragstrip he's an Autobot) and Sky Dive (because of his black parts) as arms.

Heres hoping perfect effect or somebody else does some proper hands and feet in G2 colors. I dont mess with the kiddie feet just throw em in a shoe box. It would also be awesome if renderform does his stunticon guns in G2 colors. Still not feeling the car chest on menasor. Its looks silly with his chest opened up and hollowed out with an asymmetrical car shoved inside. Glad hasbro gave us the option to have a more cartoon accurate closed chest. I give them credit for that. But I love the decos and think they did an excellent job executing them. Cant wait to see G2 Bruticus. Hopefully they are smart enough to do a G2 defensor as well with a proper deluxe groove. Screw the wreck gar figure.

I would like to see trailers for the truck molds (Optimus and Motormaster) with which they can combine without Deluxe Class figures. Especially one for Battle Core OP to make him into Nove Prime, now that we got a Reprolable set for him to do that. That would be so awesome.

About the parked car on chest thing, I came up with a solution. Shove a bit of plastics off the tiny bot's shoulders and it allow you to do this:

They are standard retail releases, just like nearly everyone. They're just hard to find right now.

They have been released at all major brick and mortar stores (Walmart, TRU, and Target), and on most online retailers.

In some stores you have to wait a while. Depends on where you are living. But if those toys don't sell well enough they may stop ordering other waves. For example the YouTuber emgo316 says that his Target or Toys'R'Us is still on wave 1

And Onslaught will be released in wave 5 and 6. The wave 6 version should be the one with the olive colored chest for Bruticus.

There's a huge demand of Shockwave and maybe Onslaught as well, so perhaps they have problems to get enough supplies.
