That chest ... oh it so badly needs to be redone.
And lets keep the 3P stuff for the 3P forums.

Man, scrounge adds sooo much kibble to the shoulder
Be cool if the fingers were individually articulated, so he could throw scrounge

It doesn't help that he's sitting on Payload. So you have two bots hanging off one shoulder.

Yeah, I figured that the handle on payload was the peg that attached scrounge to the shoulder, but he's a larger legends figure than, say, blackjack, or shockwave

Poor Scrounge though, his first appearance didn't last too long, now it looks like he's going to become a glorified frisbee.

But now we have him in glorious plastic form, if nothing else, that in itself is pretty special

Interesting. Strafe's wing layout looks like thrust(Edit: Dirge). We already know this tooling has an alternate cone-head too.

I see a Combiner that really shows how much self-imposed limits and lack of time can hurt a figure. I suspect that Deluxe Groove was done outside of Hasbro planning, and when they caught wind of him they hastily crafted new alternate parts for existing toolings to make the Technobots. Look at Strafe and Scattershot, and to a lesser extent Nosecone, just new vehicle mode parts and new heads, no new dedicated robot mode parts. In fact, even the Legends Class companion is a reuse instead of a dedicated mold.
He should be called Recyclatron

In a way kind of makes sense from a lore perspective if you think of how Grimlock built them out of parts in the G1 cartoon.
Yes I know that's a horrible excuse but I'm just thinking of a way to justify it.

I feel like we shouldn't hastily judge what is clearly a thrown together mockup. The colors are clearly Betatron even if it is in greyscale, Nosecone is straight up brawl, decepticon logo and all and groove looks to be a solid color which indicates it's a prototype. The only component that looks like it has any work done to it at all is strafe which has new wings, tail fins, and looks like it has his trademark double nosecone
Regardless though I can't wait until tomorrow!!

You know, I'm glad Scrounge is finally getting recognized in plastic form, however, I figured he'd come with Titan Blaster instead of Computron. I also thought there was a sort of opportunity for him way back when FoC Blaster was released. Scrounge could have been made 1 of his discs as a repaint of the Frenzy/Rumble mold.
As for that CW Sixshot, I like the idea. I never cared for the character 1 way or the other, so I wouldn't consider it blasphemy if he wasn't 1 6-changing bot but 6 bots representing each mode. That's a unique and neat idea. Plus, I love that color combination. That purple/teal/white just pops and I don't remember seeing it on any other figure. But it would have to be bright white like Prowl, not dull white (off-white, cream, whatever) like Wheeljack or Streetwise.

Botcon?
Anyway, if all of the other Technobots (and Scrounge, I guess) use the molds that the Transmissions Podcast predicted (and in Strafe's case, as his was never confirmed, the one that made the most sense), and Lightspeed is represented by Smokescreen, then it would stand to reason that Lightspeed is likely from the Dead End mold.

At least we got to see a version of the Victorion set that wasn't a painted proto or a 3D render. The colours seemed to look significantly less eyemelty in the final plastic.
