The only limb figure I don't really want the Hasbro version of is Brawl...
Does it make sense to only get 3 of the 4 though???
Does it makes sense for us grown ups to have more toys than most kids out there?

You're always trying to sway me into more purchases... First Defensor, now Brawl! Haha
So you would just pull the trigger for all 4???
edit: I don't have Alpha Bravo, and I'll only have 1 more of the Hasbro Blast Off mold once I get UW Superion.

Well, you asked for opinions... And yeah I did get them already, got 'em from hts the first day they popped up there. Blast-off and brawl are great

But would you buy the 4 limbs if you had the UW version on preorder...
Again, I am getting the Hasbro Onslaught no matter what.

Bot modes-- Hasbro Onslaught and Swindle, UW Blast Off, Brawl, and Vortex.
Combined Brut-- UW Onslaught and Swindle, Hasbro Blast Off, Brawl, and Vortex.
The $$ isn't a real issue... But as I've said before, I get buyer's remorse so stupid easy...
edit: now I'm thinking I'm either getting all 4, or none of them...

I was periodically checking amazon and HTS the last few days and saw he was available on amazon (from amazon, at regular retail price). I managed to order him, he was available for about half an hour after I got my order in. Now it's just third party scalpers.

Oh I know you are concerned, so I am just trying to in return give some more assurance
And it aligns with the entertainment earth preorder which is still available. That pretty much confirms that they will be having limitless amounts come October. The scalpers can only make money now (even the scalper price on Amazon has lowered).

Holy sh|t dude![]()
How'd you manage that!?! TRU rain checks or something? it'd cost me $120+ to get bruticus from my TRU's
Sowndwave76 wrote:WJ88, While I prefer the look of the UW version, I don't fault you at all for going with the Hasbro version-- that's a sweet deal.
I'm also not bothered by getting Groove from EE for $24 (with shipping).
Isn't $17.99 only $3 more than retail cost?
I won't doubt if he's easy to get in October, but I was all in on making sure I got him, so I'm really okay with that decision.

No need for rainchecks, it was available for anyone last week:

Ultra Mad wrote:That sale was great. I was able to snatch Sky Lynx for 15$ plus taxes. After I opened the box I realised I was glad I had bought it so cheap. I really like this character but I was a little let down with it in hand. I will use it in my IDW display and keep using my Takara reissue for my classic display.

Same here. He has a great torso mode though, and I thought that was worth 15$ so I didnt mind that.
But yeah, with no exageration this is one of the few updates which is not as good as the G1 toy. Fort Max seems to be that way as well, along with Powermaster Prime (unless they do get godbomber to combine with him). Are there any other TFs whos updates arent as good as the originals? I cant think of too many aside from cheetor
Oh wait, what about Thunderwing and Perceptor?
Sowndwave76 wrote:That sale is truly amazing considering normal prices these days...
Reminds me of when the Generations and RtS lines were out.........
If you got in on that, you are freaking lucky!!
At the local ToysRUs, CW deluxe figures are $19.99...
I forgot to mention I finally found Legends Shockwave at a local Target,
and that little guy was $10.29 before tax!![]()
Yeah, I figure the only way I paid too much for Groove is if I end up seeing him in a store...
Which knowing my luck, I'll see 7 dozen...
Every Soundwave/Blaster update?william-james88 wrote: Are there any other TFs whos updates arent as good as the originals? I cant think of too many aside from cheetor
