Its pretty cool, with deluxe groove I now have all the members I want for my Combiners:

That above is my preferred combination on each of them, using members of their teams.

Here below is the actual G1 limb coordination on each:

And man, I keep being impressed with that Swindle toy. I just tried to do that bit where you can attach his gun above his shoulder and I am now pumped to get Hound since it now seems that this retool was clearly made with him in mind:

And since you are able to connect a gun above each shoulder, I will try doing a double shoulder canon mode when I find Hound at retail

And I finally tried Swindle as an arm, but tis just a bit too beefy to me, even more beefy than using the tank as an arm:

So long as Onslaught glows fiercely under a black light, I don't mind if his G2 self has only a few camo splotches. But seriously - orange? Where could he hide with such camo?

Well, untried hitting them with a black light and nothing really "glowed" sire it looked a little different but not cool glow in the dark kind of coolike.

Onslaughthas incredibly bland combiner legs. Some paint apps in there would have made a work of difference. But the Breast plate looks fantastic.

I don't recommend using Brawl as an arm. He's all kind of loose. Might just be my set, but even the fingers in the hand are wonky. Although I like the look he has going at the moment so he will stay like this for a while.

Does anyone know, or can anyone remember if it was said why Defensor isn't being released in his G2 colors? Seems odd to only do Menasor in G2.

Nothing official, but we've speculated that it could be for one of several reasons

-Hasbro wanted to wait to acquire the UW Groove mold for it (though this would mean that defensor would be paired with 2 grooves)

-The slot was given to g2 bruticus or victorion

-The prototype it was based on may not have been far enough along to give detailed info on deco, and Hasbro didn't want to bother winging it

-Not being able to resolve the 2 grooves dilemma

Only Menasor? We just posted pics of Bruticus. But yeah there is currently no evidence or announcement that they are making a G2 defensor.

Since I collect all non-exclusive Legends/Deluxe/Voyager Hasbro Combiner Wars figures, I am glad there isn't a G2 Defensor... or G2 Devastator, which actually got released, if you remember those orange dudes.

CW G2 Bruticus having clean yellow thighs follows the original G2 Bruticus, but Fall Of Cybertron G2 Bruticus has camouflaged thighs. Can't wait for the CW one to arrive here, and photograph all 3 together!

Looking at pics of the original g2 onslaught and bruticus, well, dang, he really is that plain in robot and torso mode. Might try some black paint on the grills on the thighs.

So plain onslaught and g1 con symbols are minuses, but on the whole sooooooo pretty. Wonder if some stock g2 stickers will do to cover those up or if reprolabels will do a full set for g2 'cus.

Honestly, I enjoy all the g2 sets more than the normal colors. Especially Menasor. God, that drag strip.
