Greetings,
ok after much thought, I revised my list to add toys from both the UW & TAV lines which are truly *unique*, I could waste a lot of space explaining my own personal parameters, but just look it over and see if it makes sense. Again if there are any glaring errors or omissions please let me know. If its good enough perhaps I'll copy it in the UW thread, or perhaps someone can sticky it as a reference guide.

I'm a bit hesitant with including Scrounge, since he's not a CW-original mold. Since you still list the TAV releases of the Legends Class molds, he should be fair game, with the caveat that the previous releases be listed as well: Autobot Cosmos with Payload, and TAV20 Adams.

yeah its kind of a catch 22 with Scrounge. Legends Cosmos was not designed by Hasbro to combine with anything (since obviously he was released before CW), but with CW Computron the design of Scrounge is intended, though they share the same mold... Also the TAV toys may or may not intend to combine with combiners, however they share a mold with ones that did (same as Wreck Gar). It's an odd situation to be sure. I would be ok with adding TAV Adams, as it would cover for Cosmos as well....I'll have to meditate on it for a bit.

Alright, as CW is coming to an end soon I'm just gonna share my thoughts about the whole line.
This line is the one where I started collecting, I collected few during Classics/Universe and then stopped during Generations. But something made me get back into Transformers and so I started collecting the new line, which happened to be Combiner Wars. Not the best choice to start at, as it is was mostly redecos/retools. It wasn't the worst either though, providing a wide range of characters that the fanbase loved. My experience with CW has been awesome, really enjoyed the combiners. (Even though they skipped Wave 2 and 3) Though, Takara has really perfected the combiners with UW. Here's a list of which combiner team I prefer,
Superion - UW, those HFGs look way better!
Menasor - CW, one of the only ones. UW Dragstrip is so boring.
Defensor - I know, like, nothing of this guy.
Bruticus - UW, that Onslaught and Vortex is seeexy.
Sky Reign/Lynxmaster - Gotta give it to UW, replacing Smokescreen with Ratchet was a smart move.
Computron - Definitely UW, better use of molds.
Devastator - UW, same molds, different shoulders (and paint).

The new heads are beautiful, but I just cannot get behind Leozack and Jallguar being replaced by Deathsaurus - and a really bad Sky Lynx Deathsaurus too. That yellow streak thing to replicate the beak looks like an awful digibash come true.

Well Seibertronians, the time has come. Fresh from the San Diego Comic Con Breakfast Press Release, we bring to you our latest SDCC gallery: that of Combiner Wars Liokaiser! Liokaiser utilizes 5 combiner wars molds, which include Dezarus (yes that is correctly read) using Sky Lynx, Guyhawk from Air Raid, Fellbat (yeah...) from Sky Dive, Ironbison (no kill here) and Drillhorn from Brawl, and Ion Scythe from an old Arms Micron figure.
