Yeah, him and hound were bought on site, the minute I saw them at botcon, there's just something about them
He may not be a faithful Hound toy wise, but he is the best looking Hound toy I have ever seen. HIE IS SO MINE
Better than.....Universe Hound?
Yeah, he looks much cooler
Blows him away.... Just like Rhinox did the preds in that one Beast Wars episode![]()
Too much green in CW Hound. Also, that entire wave was designed by either: a lobotomized Waspinator, people on meth or monkeys. And that is a sorry excuse for a Wheeljack. Where is his paint? They left the chest untouched. Untouched! UN-FREAKING-TOUCHED! Sorry, sometimes I get angry when toys are stupid. The only thing that might come close to the OG Generations version is the head.
Yeah the rest of the limbs suck, but we weren't talking about them were we? And I will never take classics hound over cw hound
Might have to go with Screamer on this. I don't have him myself, but Universe does seem to capture the youthful naievete that I always thought was good about Hound.

I really feel the CW Hound look fits his current IDW incarnation as well since in the comics he is a field commander and not naive at all. He really does look good too. There is point in the look, its just dark green and black mostly, so it is harder to notice and different from what we are used to. But I still love him. We'll have to see what optibotimus says about the mold when he gets Swindle's review up Friday. then we can appreciate actual mold

Mostly just depends on what Hound you like or what one you're going for.
"nature is awesome" pseudo-kid appeal character Hound, or boots on the ground "you wanna live forever?" Hound

I like the boots to the ground Hound a little better, mainly because of the Hound I have grown accustomed to in IDW. but the kid appeal Hound is still nice nonetheless

It's funny, going back and watching the first 3 episodes of G1 (collectively titled "More Than Meets The Eye"), Hound has an oddly large role and interacts with humans a lot more. Makes me wonder what would have happened if he stayed the kid appeal character?
Then again, it'd probably just mean we'd be complaining about green clogged shelves and waxing nostalgic about the wasted potential of that one yellow Volkswagen bot.

Apologies: "Fat Ballerina who takes scalps!" That was an awesome Hound. They are probably riding that name now for this character, since Drift is in RiD and Crosshairs may show up in Titans returns or something

I just hope it's G1 Crosshairs. If it's not, I'll get Cloud Roadbuster.

Onslaught looks like quite a bit of love went into making him. It's cool to see the added heel's (especially since he longer has hotspot's third-leg-backpack) and it's really cool that you don't even need to partsform the weapons if you want
Oh, and scattershot looks really, really dumb; I'm not sure how I would feel if hasbro never made a proper scattershot if they do indeed make limbs for him. That might be doubly insulting

D-Max I agree this onslaught remold is impressive in every way, it works better than I thought it would. I might have to get this set, well done. I also like this reviewers, everything is simple but well done.

Don't play a drinking game for every time he says "Hotshot" instead of "Hotspot" in that Onslaught Video that might prove lethal.

Maybe they sank all their effort into Onslaught and had none to spare for Scattershot. Creativity is, as everyone knows, a zero-sum resource

Can't wait to have another Con combiner despite the troubles with Brawl.
Not even gonna bother watching the Scattershot review.

The thing is, I think it's just a bad choice of color hues and a lack of a new combiner head. It COULD have worked (and may yet still down the line).
At it's core, the Silverbolt torso is still the best of the ones we have.

Thats the review I am watching first.
Also, people say they would like the rest of Computron to be released but I dont. This scattershot is terrible. I dont want to just own a to called Computron, I want to own an actual nice computron toy with a nice nosecone and not the crappy brawl repaint they showed for ramhorm with the teeny tiny nosecone.
I do hope to get a computron since he is the coolest combiner but I dont want him looking like anything they are offering.
